Yamaha ice scratchers.

Is anyone running the ice scratchers that Yamaha advertises.
How are they?
Do you remove a wheel? I have an ltx 137.

Do you find they scratch the rails?

Came stock on my Sidewinder BTX LE just gota remember they are down before you back up, other than that the sled ran 30 degrees cooler down the trail. So definitely helps honestly never looked if they scratched the rails

I've been running them all Winter. 2600 miles so far. No damage and never runs hot even on ice.

I'm running Duraflex. Work great and keep the temp at about 168 on the hard stuff. They stay up nice on the rail. No problems at all.
