So much for the 11:00 am release date!

I like them, especially knowing Yamaha has kept all the their under the hood components!

Cat guys should be happy, no more multiple $200 frequent belt changes.

Couple of interesting things under specs.......10.6 gal. gas tank and push button reverse.......I wonder where THAT came from?

I like the Viper - but I don't think it's enough! Where is the Phazer replacement? What about a rider foward Turbo or 170+ hp sled? Is the Mountain segment dead to Yamaha? Pretty big price drop on the Nytro, must be they still had parts to build them - can't beleive they'll sell many.

Wondering if Cat will put the Phazer or other 100 ish HP motor into their SnoPro chassis. This new agreement goes both ways, so it will be interesting to see what Cat does!

The funny thing is their only expanding their line up. The only thing that has really went missing is the 1.25" version of the Nytro XTX. The new colors on the Nytro look cool.

The only new real Yamaha is a new Phazer XTX. Interesting enough it is priced the same as the short track version.

Oh my !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's just hope they have yammie inspectors....I say give it a chance.... MM. :yam:cat

Look at it this way Cat has already flushed all the bugs out of the their chassis. Now it has a Yami motor and Yami clutches. This may be a good thing. I can only wait for 15' for a refined again mtn chassis. Hopefully a factory turbo on the 1049cc. :4STroke:

I wish it came in a 136" track version. What is the difference between the XTX and the MTX? Gearing and ski width?

Do we know if there will be a HP decrease with a front dump exhaust, oh sorry side dump exhaust. No HP numbers.

Yep..... Yamaha FINALLY built an XTX phazer..... AND copied me! Freeride 144" and wide front looks very familiar to me. ;)!

Good luck guys. I have owned a procross for 2 years and have had it apart and back together many times. Even if clutches are fixed, there are so many other half-assed issues of quality control from things built in TRF. The best thing about Yam is/was their qq. Just start with greaseless front end and work your way back from there. Hope you guys like to wrench as much as you ride.
