Z1 turbo what?

now all of the sudden the z1 was chisseled...right...next thing you'll tall me is the nytro has stock clutching...

we'll agree to disagree..

the sled that you see running in the price and other videos is stock motor and turbo...were not even talking the bigger stuff here...

the key to me is trail sled to trail sled...or race sled to race sled...

the fastest trail sled doesnt hold a chance against the average race sled ....and the top race sled cant hold a candle to the avg trail sled in trail conditions...

call a spade a spade...

Ive owned a fast apex, nytro and a nytro turbo...

Ive got less money in the z1 than any of the above and most of you in all your mods...and my machine was the new apex as far as price...

Show me anything short of a bottle that can run with it and I'll be surprised...and for the guy who puts a bottle on...well so can a big tank like the z1...apples to apples its the cheapest fourstroke sled to mod..just ask the guys with the 2011 apex's...

sorry but no stock nytro is even in the same company as a z1t..

Hay SJ if you think that its fair to race a hijacked z1turbo with 220 hp vs the other guys sleds that make 160,170 hp and then go brag about how you are beating the crap out of us, then you are pretty good sandbager. Why dont you go race other turbo,supercharged sleds and then come brag about how you smoked them. If you want to race 160hp sleds then take the hijacker of compleatly so we have a fair race .

truth...I never started a post about beating anyone...just responded to your propoganda in another post...

your right its unfair...not saying its in the same class of power at all...but that makes me wonder...why did you keep chasing after me to race? over and over? even going back to the truck...working on your clutching...then ...going and getting your buds crossfire and same result...why did you keep chasing after me to run? I bet if you got lucky and got up on one you would have bragged it out...

call a spade a spade.....I raced lots of other sleds,with nos , snocross with HOT buttons , lake racing two strokes lowered and maybe chisseled , with turbos...a 1200 doo with a turbo...won..three other z1 turbo's in the last two times out there...beat two badly...lost to one...the Supreme tool sled with a lot of mods...

so far your the only guy complaining?

to me its how fast you go for what money...Ive added your investment and mine...Im sure were about equal invested...but eventhough I got the turbo...I outweigh you by 40 and then my sled maybe another 40...call it even ..lol

russian...I know youre working hard on your sled...and yes its fast.....Im happy with my sled and Im sure you are with yours...

your right ,,,I will be seeking other faster sleds to run against...and refusing the slower ones you mention...because as Dirkdiggler says...its a lose -lose situation...if I win...I get "well thats because" or "you should win" etc.....

In closing ..I guess I am saying...if you dont want to lose to a turbo sled...dont chase after one over and over again to race it? (me) (then complain)

I love the apex...best motor out!! wish they come with a turbo or s/c and Id be on blue again!

I watched the video multiple times and in no way is this a true representation of how thus race will turn out on most occasions. I can say this because I owned a very good running nytro and even if I put a 50 or 60 shot of nos on it I would have never ran with a dialed in z1. Ive ridden sj's z1 and it's fast. If you slammed it and put a speed track on it would walk a nytro in 660.

Look I race sleds not just trail sleds. I own Allen ulcers old improved stock 700 which was turned into a prostock 700. The z1 by far has the most upside and with 1500 in mods will dominate the lake.

As fad as all this other stuff goes it's just silly. Racing is fun except to the people who get beat. I unlike most like racing weather I win or lose.

well said.... There's always someone faster... Mad Russian... You want to beat SJ, then bolt on a Turbo or SuperCharger. There now your even...

Even if he took off the hyjacker and left on exhuast and re-clutched it. You would not beat it.... Just adding an exhaust to that sled it wold give it another 5-6hp in stock forum. Now he's at 185. With some re-clutching, do you really think you can over come that? As i hear it, he was beating you in stock forum with 40 miles on his sled and you were at 800? reguardless if you like it or not, the Z1 2010-2011 (2009 had issues) is the real deal when they are tuned... The bonus is they are real cheap to mod. You want to be the fastest, sell your sled and buy a Z1.
