Millenium awesome looking! How much does your sled bound up and down when you jump on it just sitting there? Is it as stiff as need for speeds is? Let us know hopefully there is no screw up here!
No- not stiff at all-- it's really pretty squishy till it gets down towards the bottom. I can take both hands and push it up and down quite a ways fairly easily-- might be a little too soft. Or maybe I'm just used to the pro-action. I think I set the shock adjusters on the 3rd setting. It drops out a lot lower than the no-action too-- I tried setting the back end up on my wooden kickstand, and the track was still dragging, so I had to add more wood to get it off the ground. When I first sat on it after install it only moved about an inch & was real hard-- then remembered I hadn't put the pins back in the revolving adjuster. Put them in and it was all set-- don't know if that was need for speeds' problem or not? Haven't heard back from him. Can't WAIT for snow!!

I have added comments about this on another post concerning this situation, but mine takes two men and a boy to get it to collapse and was told this is normal by manufacture - so dose this mean yours is not right?
This should be resolved ASAP as to what is what, I know after your comments about it being to soft I now have concerns again.

I am in the process of back tracking the install doing everthing Jeff tells me to do but it is not moving. at this point I will sell this suspension bear in mind guys that if purchased and there is a problem with it there are no refunds from me.

NfS2, what is so different from your install for a 128 instead of let's say, a 136 inch suspension? Why was there a need for a modification? ADB doesn't have a 128 extension maybe?

Exactly, there is no extension for the 128 inch track.
The mounting plate are for 121 or 136''.
Anything in between is custom. AD Boivin did not manufacture the 128 inch kit.
That does not mean we won't do it. as at right now, there is not enought demande to do it.
So it would be sad to be judge on something we have not develop yet.

Jeff, what about 06vectorGT's comments on the one he had installed above? Seems that one wont collapse either and thats a properly set up unit??

My concern is why Millinocket Rocket 1 is soft and everybody else is very stiff.

Jeff please explain how this can be - some of us are very nervous about this.

The install....

Dang how I wish I had brought my sled home last weekend! I would have my ZX2 installed by now and been able to test is out, as we got a few inches today and there is more forecast for tomorrow.

Then we would put all our worries to rest and see if this suspension is what we all hoped it will be.

Anyone out there install a ZX2 and ride it to test it out?

wait to try it out.
It is hard to say with out being there but you guys don't weight the same, maybe the track tension is different from one machine to another. New versus older track, ect...
the suspension was made to run in the snow outside, in the cold weather. if it feel funny in the garage, yes this may be possible.
But tell me how it ride in the snow. then if we have problem or that your not happy, i can solve it out.

your track adjustement, the first time the suspension is in, should be to the minimum on the adjustment. 90% of the sled will be like that.
the other may have strech there track a bit more before and may need to move the adjustement a bit to tigh it up.
Then after the first ride, check your track tension again (loctite) and you should be fine for a good part of the season.

Tell Millinocket Rocket To get in touch with me so he can explain is worry to me.

Wow 06 those colored Zx2's looks friggen mint under there!!!!

Thanks Kinger! I love the look!
Gonna chill about the stiffness thing until snow testing time, I know A.D.B. will take care of issues that pop up.

They will take care of issues guys no doubt at all As for my situation we are trying to run something completely out of the norm A.D. boivon have not tested or pursued what we are doing so for now I am going back to the expert x till we have figured out Jeff has been excellent to deal with one of few guys that were sincerely interested in servicing the customer. If you follow Boivons direction to the letter I feel everthing is good.
