Anybody have any issues with thier backcountry track yet? Noticed today one lug starting to tear from the base of the track, the lug is on the outside edge.
Is the shield that other guys where putting on not working? It looked like guys had a permanent fix using heating duct tin for $3.00. Let me know if there is something wrong with that idea.
Has anyone removed the stabalizers completly or just unhooked them? What is it like trail riding? A buddy has a quick connect set up on his 800 doo and leaves his stabalizer unhooked all the time now.
My xtx had it happen, and it is a factory problem. That part is assembled when they recieve it. So far no bulletins to my dealer on this problem. They blame it on the forum, everyone complains on the forum but doesn't report to dealer.
I hope everyone tells there dealer to report this problem. I ended up with some damage and lost a bushing. If there was a bulletin on this the rest of us would not learn the hard way. Yes my dealer knows because they are fixing things right now and I hope under warranty.
Got my extroverts right from yamaha. I put the 1.75 on and love it. The rail caps should be trimmed back or they will make a lot of noise while they wear off on there own.
