U need a meth system on your sled . LolHmmm....yes. Trying to keep up in a world that gives us nearly infinite combinations.
Since everything I see is going the route of additives & race fuel, perhaps a simple combo that is pump gas friendly might be worth looking at. As stated, "more with less" thought process.
Negotiating terms of the race, can be a reward in itself. Haha.
I mean " look at all those goodies" hahaha.
As you can tell bob, I'm not really one for sanction racing. my style is a little different. So much racing to choose from on any given day in Wisconsin. Hit the right bar & grille, or possibly spill off on the right lake, at the right time. its game time.
Now let's snap back to reality....Sure hope the lakes would freeze up & we'd get some much needed snow. lol.

"On any given day" anyone can beat anyone. Don't back down. It's all relative. You don't know who he's raced, or what was done to his or the one he says he's beat. Sometimes it's psychological warfare. Never know til the race happens. We've all raced guys that brag about who they've beat and how fast they're stuff is.Talked to a buddy today, seems as thou his '24 9000RR is running very good. He asked he when I'm coming out. I think he just wants me out there to make an example out of me?!?! Hahaha...won't be the last.
With friends like this, if you know what I'm saying..... Lol
All this, after he made short work of a '24 Boost.
Balls must be really swollen...lol.
Case in point - what happened when USA Street Outlaws went to Austrailia to race all those cars who had never been beat? The Aussies took a huge beat down.

Right on, turboflash. I suppose I try to look at things at face value. Just be honest. A header tune could be 300hp, or quite frankly it could be 400hp. That's all."On any given day" anyone can beat anyone. Don't back down. It's all relative. You don't know who he's raced, or what was done to his or the one he says he's beat. Look at the simple wastegate mod. Throw in a race tune, could easily reach 325hp, idk?
Takes a little bit of the entertainment value out of things out, in looking for a close race scenario. In the end, it's all in fun.
I agree with you in that I don't mind racing guys with bigger horsepower or more kill stories.
I mean what do I have to lose?!?! Zero.

I attended a speedrun a few seasons ago with speed trap system 1000 ft on hardpacked snow. I ran 117 with a 300 tune and 122 with the race map. The same 300 tune ran 123 on ice in 1000ft at a NSSR event. I'm guessing a 275 tune would run 113-115 in 1000ft on snow on a trail sled

Yes, there seems to be a consensus (115) ty for your input. Just setting up some kind of goal.I attended a speedrun a few seasons ago with speed trap system 1000 ft on hardpacked snow. I'm looking to one of those events where you pay $25 and make either 3runs or maybe the guy said unlimited. Haha. He wasn't sure. I'd like to find more of those. Maybe I'll work on trying to find some snow first.

NYTurbo, while I know others have used in the past. I brought it back up 2 months B4 the comp came out. I was like, it's really the only way. Pretty sure the idea got shut down. Haha. Live and learn.U need a meth system on your sled . Lol
It's really a good fix in our (my) situation, simple boost referenced kit at 16psi would suffice. Actually it would just barely sip the meth vs what I believe to be ambient temperature sensitive in the comp 850. Glug, glug, glug, yikes.

So, I got this old pump?!?! What's stopping me from making my own meth kit? Try to breathe....in....out....in....out
Hahaha....laugh now.
Nitrous nozzle with removable pills, pump, boost switch, custom reservoir to fit your tool bag and some ice.

if you were running say 22-23 lbs of boost with a progressive meth controller it would be pretty cool on the trail .
I know TD has set up a few 998s on meth but don’t know the details.

That's funny....I was estimating 22 PSI would not be out of the question.if you were running say 22-23 lbs of boost with a progressive meth controller it would be pretty cool on the trail .

You'd have to invest in data logging. Data logs would serve the purpose of monitoring which pill in the nitrous nozzle injection for meth would keep timing & fuel in check, for a given amount of boost.
Don't need fancy schmancy.
Done! I'll start figuring it out.

it is a 2018 sidewinder 137" with a fully clipped 1" track, mix of chisels and triggers, and it had tall gearing. The sled was race prepped and not suitable to trail ride that day as it was slammed and chained down and had chassis set up etc......i outran a 1100 turbo by 2 mph with my 20 psi for comparison..he said he was running over 30 psiThat's fast. What sled, track, studs, etc.
thanks
