Got it all apart....Cannondale and boostednytro were over and showed me what needs to be modified. Cannondale had a front arm (newer gusseted one) which I am purchasing from him. He's been a huge help with this sled

Did some welding on the link that bolts up to the front torque arm and front shock. Welded all the way around, ground smooth and welded a washer on each side and ground smooth once again.
Should have it together this week with the addition of the exhaust, tunnel brackets and Gems fuel controller

Update, took some time off, went to the last TY ride this past weekend and had a great time! Before I left, I was able to get the exhaust on and fire it up. It is loud but what a very cool sound! The suspension is still out as I have all the parts to put it back together now
It sounds like a new R1 with the crossplane crank with aftermarket exhaust!!!!
This exhaust will stay on for the meantime to play in the yard, but for trail the stock can will be on it.
Will post a video clip as soon as I can

Do you happen to have pics or any specs of the exhaust while out? Would like to do something between that and stock for my wife's phazer.

The exhaust is AAEN and has removeable inserts to try to keep it quiet.....the video you hear is with the inserts in. I really like the design and I think it would be very easy to duplicate with a couple mufflers. I will get dimensions for you and where I cut the stock exhaust.

Great, I built the exhaust on my rx1 and she would like to do something for her sled so it doesn't sound like a tractor. I just have a hard time paying 4-600 bucks for something I can build for a 100 and a couple of hours.

I see you said "try" to keep it quiet....LOL. Not much muffler body there hey? I took my quiet core out when I was at a unpopulated northern lake last weekend, and it was RIDICULOUS, cool sounding and ridiculous! Sounded like a turbo prop plane it was so loud... If I cracked the throttle I was startling guys riding IN FRONT of me hahahahah.
Bottom line is I guess those quiet cores actually work.

I don't even want to think how loud it would be

Purple, here are some pics of the AAEN exhaust. Mufflers are 14 inches x 4 inch diameter round. The stock exhaust was cut right after the bend towards the engine.

Perfect!!! That takes a lot of the guess work out of these kind of projects. Thank you for taking the time to do that, Don.
