Lots of cool projects going on so I figured I would update as well.
I made the mistake of going west last year, so I am changing the nytro up again.
Tunnel Cooler
After Blasting before powder coat
Fresh set of bushings
Frontend on
Starting on charge tube.
Mocked up
More to come.

The front cooler had to be moved forward to clear the bigger lug track. I was able to remove it from the sled by using a 90 degree air grinder to grind off the rivets from the inside and cutting the lower right coolant tube off.
It was a good thing I had to do this because after welding the lower right coolant intake closed I pressure tested it and found a pin hole from a big dent.
All fixed
I then reinstalled the cooler in the sled. You can see how far ahead I had to move it to clear the track with 2.86 pitch 8 tooth drivers.
I then did some reverse engineering on my skid. And designed a tunnel. The skid is not perfect but it is close.

Really nice work Lee. I didn't realize you had a Cat skid under that sled. With your skills, I'll bet you could also draw and build a new front end with different geometry. That would totally transform that Nytro.

Looks like I can learn a lot from you! Nice rehab. I bought Justin Tates IQR and did similiar build.

Is that a straight tunnel dump off the turbo? She's gonna be loud and mean! Wear earplugs. Sled looks great BTW. I like how you kept the lines of your tunnel flowing into your bumper too. Turbo install is also really stealth looking ... like it.
