The front cooler had to be moved forward to clear the bigger lug track. I was able to remove it from the sled by using a 90 degree air grinder to grind off the rivets from the inside and cutting the lower right coolant tube off.
It was a good thing I had to do this because after welding the lower right coolant intake closed I pressure tested it and found a pin hole from a big dent.
All fixed
I then reinstalled the cooler in the sled. You can see how far ahead I had to move it to clear the track with 2.86 pitch 8 tooth drivers.
I then did some reverse engineering on my skid. And designed a tunnel. The skid is not perfect but it is close.
Really nice work Lee. I didn't realize you had a Cat skid under that sled. With your skills, I'll bet you could also draw and build a new front end with different geometry. That would totally transform that Nytro.
Is that a straight tunnel dump off the turbo? She's gonna be loud and mean! Wear earplugs. Sled looks great BTW. I like how you kept the lines of your tunnel flowing into your bumper too. Turbo install is also really stealth looking ... like it.
