The yamaha Banshee was around for 19 years, i'm sure they will keep the apex look for awhile, seems every year there upgrading it, just got to get the hand warmers fixed like the srx and viper

i dont think anybody of you will be disapointed, take your time and wait and se, my suggestions is that we will keep the 4 sylinder engine, maybe with a little more hp, and some options to track length, i am 99.99% sure off a 144, its not a revolution more a evolution wtih some brake trough teknologies in snowmobile industri, so stay calm and dont judge by time you havent seen

the apex dbII will be around for a while as that is the new platform for the vector ltx. look it up. they just stuffed the 3 banger in it. we will get a 4 hole apex.

Nytro
I own both a Nytro and an Apex.Ive owned the apex for 3 years and about 5000 miles. Ive owed the Nytro for about 3 weeks and 248 miles. Honestly I love both sleds for different reasons. The Apex flat out rocks when it comes to speed and the way it rides. I really dont have any complaints on the sled, its never let me down. I ride the Apex when I feel like cruisin around for a couple hundred miles on nice trails. I use the Nytro when I hit the twisty rough trails. When I really feel like pounding the crap out of my sled. They both have a purpose and are purpose built .I personally wouldnt want to give up either of them. I cant wait to wake up in the morning and grab a key to either sled and just riding.I even take out my 98 srx every now and then just for the hell of it. Shane

Neither Nytro or Apex are leaving line up. Look for another model to enter line up. The sled that needs the most work is the Phaser so could be all new Phaser the way it should have been. Apex/Vector are bread & butter products & Yam knows it. No trouble selling them. Whatever it is.... if it even exists it will be a tweener upon introduction not a sled that eliminates a model unless replaces Phaser. Yam does not have leaks regarding new product info unless they want leaks.

Naw aftermarket has it covered & Yam does not have to warranty Turbo.journeyman said:My resouces are telling me of a turbo finally coming out. I hope so.......

I have both xtx and apex gt,and didn't think I would ever like riding the xtx over my apex but i'm really liking the xtx. If yamaha can get the nytro chassis to ride better, IMO the nytro is more fun to drive.

I'll throw in my 2 cents worth. I have owned 10 of the 4 strokes now. Every model except the Phaser. I agree with srxpert, I have had the XTX and the Apex's and they are both great machines, each has it's own purpose. But if I had to pick one The Nytro is the one. Just put the tall windshield and flairs on it and it is as warm or warmer that the Apex. The only thing the Nytro needs is a few more HP and a bigger fuel tank. I liked my Nytro so much last year, every time I rode it I like it more.Would get a big smile on my face. If both sleds were sitting there I would always take the Nytro. So this year I got rid of my last Apex GT LTX and got a second Nytro. But I also fixed the two things that I think it needed. I but a Trail Tank on it and a MPI S/C kit.

Yep R&D bought from aftermarket not difficult heck Poo can do it.lol Turbo or SC would be cool but only if you want much more than 150HP. Nytro dynos at 138, 4 holer 150hp so if you go turbo you must want 180 to 200+ ponies min or no point to do it. Then you have to ask where can a rider use 180 -200 ponies?? Seems straight line or mountain would be useful but not on trail.Turbo or SC much harder on engine so look for an all new engine if you want Turbo or SC. Yam engines very solid & if they add Turbo or SC to current engines it is saying Ok everybody just add this Turbo or SC to your sled noooooooooo problem. Turbo or SC will have to mean all new engine no other way from biz point of view.

the 2011 will not be like the nitro, maybe sit up a bit farther but not as much, Yamaha still needs a trail sled, y would they have 2 high performance ditch bangers? they would loose customers if they made the apex like the nitro.
