2010 Maine TY Ride Feb 26-28

When the dates for my arrival and the Gaspe roundtrip are set I will be back with the dates. I would really like to be able to join the Maine TY Ride while visiting hondo.

No, Bob have been kind to let me ride one of his sleds.

One of my friends is coming with me to Maine, he will have to rent a sled in Maine. My friend is an on-flight mechanic on the Norwegian Sea-King SAR helicopter skvadron at Banak Air Force station in Lakselv, Finnmark, Norway.

The hotel is at the bend of the lake no more than 3 miles from my place.

Sounds great Bob, Odd Steffen needs a Yamaha can you find prices on different classes of sleds. He's currently out moose hunting for 3-4 weeks, they're at the second week by now. I hope they shoot enough moose so I can have some

Are you guys going to cross over to the Gaspe in Campbelton or up Moose Valley way?? If you guys have time for some New Brunswick riding let me know...we could maybe get something going. My brother and I are on sabatical this winter so any time in Feb is good.

Depending on where you cross back into New Brunswick from Quebec we could hook up for the ride back to Maine...I went to school at UMFK and haven't been back for a while. I'm only about 20 miles from Campbelton...we could take a different route back to Maine maybe up on the 22 then by Mt Carleton...wouldn't take any extra time if we timed it right...just a thought. Not many Finns get to sled the Gaspe, New Brunswick and Maine...What do you think Hondo???

Hahahaha wifey said I should bring the traditional Sámi Winter outfit when riding in Maine, sadly I don't own one yet. There are not many women left making the clothing the traditional way, and cost are like a months pay, uh costly that is. I'm will buy one some day when I can affort to
