I figure we can meet up in front of McDonalds. Trail goes right by it. From there we can determine the best route to whatever destination based on trail conditions.

i'll be there dan - if my son isn't racing, he'll be there too. we could probably ride towards buhl and hit the laurentian to giants ridge if those trails are in good shape

It's no joke that Yamaha will be here with a semi full of goodies for some "VIP" rides...... It's that week during a weekday. I thought maybe they'd stick around until Saturday if there was a TY ride nearby. Thought crossed my mind anyways.

I already posted this on the smoking side, but count me in for the ride. I will be driving up from the Twin Cities on Friday (19th) morning. I'm still trying decide whether to stay at the hotel or stay out on Side Lake at my cabin. If someone needs to split a room let me know.
Ok folks, We are looking for commitments here. If not a lot of interest, Mr. Sled and I are talking about pulling the plug.
I'm really looking forward to meeting some other TY members so I was going to dump a day of work on Friday the 19th for this.
I know there is some sort of week long trip up through Canada starting on Sunday the 21st. I can't say I've ever been to Orr on a sled, but Cook and Lake Vermillion are a reasonable distance away. I'd think we could all meet up there for dinner Saturday the 20th?
Please let me know who is and is not interested as we are looking at making a go/no go decision by Friday the 29th.

what's the chances - actually pretty good considering how i had to pick a week with a few other guys and now i have two conflicts that week - i only have 700 miles this year, so i need some serious riding - still not firm yet so who knows. if we go early in the week i'll be back.

I'm In, just found out I have that weekend off! And I'm only 15 miles away!

Here's the scoop. We are going to go ahead and have this ride. Mr. Sled has said he could tentatively make it up Friday night. I am aware of two other local TY members that are planning on it. We would ride Saturday and if there was interest, on Sunday as well. I'd like to know with as much advanced notice who is planning on making it. I was going to take off Friday from work, and I am fine with doing that as long as there will be others to ride with. I hate to dump a day if I'm not guiding.
I would be willing to meet any TY members at the hotel lobby Thursday evening/night to meet the members and discuss the tentative planned ride or make a changes from there. A little closer to the event I'll leave my cell # for contact. For those of you planning on making it please try to let me know in the next week or so.
