Convert a mighty cold front is on its way. I am in the middle of it. -41c here in Fort McMurray tonight. That can only mean some snow is on the way. I told you Tuesday it will come.

I get cranky cause I have to ride ditches for 30 miles till i hit any trails! The ones around Beltrami, Fertile, Mahnomen, TRF, and Warren are still nice so far and if they connect down to Park Rapids at least we could go north (now IM tryin to change plans hehehe)

We rode that area last weekend and had a blast, putting on nearly 500 miles. Stayed in the Falls, and if I did it again I would be tempted to stay out of town. I really wanted to make it to Kettle Falls, but they didn't have the trail staked.

Well folks seems mother nature is not going to cooperate and the Minnesota ride is doomed (at least here) one more time. We still have had no snow since mid december even with all the predictions of our illustrious weathermen. I went out yesterday in the ditches and there just is not enough snow to justify all my TY bretheran coming from Mich, Wisc etc where they have been lucky enough to have a ton of snow. If someone wants to try to put a ride together somewhere else in Mn please feel free to do so, I know this area but am not familiar enough with other trail systems to lead the effort elsewhere. Don't forget to cancel your reservations at the Americinn so you don't get charged for the rooms.

I guess everyone that was planning to do that ride can now drive a little farther and come up to the Manitoba ride!!!! Darn I was looking forward to riding out there, but it wasn't looking good for me to get there this year anyway, oh well maybe next year.
