The trails in the area took a major hit last weekend when it was so warm out. We are going to need some fresh snow before the ride.

Paging "Mother Nature" Could you please return the snow to it's appropriate place it's been at least 3 weeks and I have been a good boy

If someone wants to organize a North Shore ride thats fine we will need routes planned, hotels rounded up and resteraunts etc...I don't know that area well enough to play host and organize. I'm leaving this ride as is for now hoping for snow but there is no reason someone can't plan an additional ride people will go where ever is closest that has snow.

Has this changed??? If not I have to move some of my schedule around and its very important that I be notified as soon as you can if its a go..

Nothing has changed Tom still lacking snow but all hope is not lost supposed to get some over the next week or so I wll let everyone know at least 48 - 72 hours in advance if it looks like its a no go situation.

Is there snow on the trails? i live 2 hrs northwest near Crookston and there is still snow on the trails here lol - this is a trail ride right? I dont think we need to have people suggesting we move it when plans have been made and rooms reserved and there is still 10 days for mother nature to spill her stuff etc. If you want a Wisconsin ride set it up!

As for me I can ride friday and part of saturday and I plan on doing so . as long as there is enough snow to lube my hyfax I ride !

In a lot of spots, no. When I was in the area on January 5th I put on 200 miles with Convert and there were already a LOT of bare spots. Mind you, this was before the warmup we had on the 6th. The lack of new snowfall couldn't mean anything but similar conditions, and the short term outlook doesn't look so hot.

Thats the spirit lol MrSled and Jwifferdill are both good friends of mine, I don't think either of them meant any disrespect : ) Just looking at alternatives if for some reason we don't get blessed by mother nature. I'm thinking positive it's supposed to snow a little tonight and tomorrow and John Dee is saying chance for a major storm the weekend before. We shall see
