Boy, those new artic cats are gonna give Yammi a run for its money. 177 hp stock at of the box, 100 lbs. lighter. I'm no fan of artic cat, towed quite a few back with my yamaha, but they look nice this year.

They look nice but would never own one.

a very close friend picked up 2 new sleds this year... 2012 XRS(his 3rd 10,11,now12) and a new F1100 turbo sno pro.. he had 2 apex's and a nytro... this is his first cat... ever!!!...

Trust me... he is a nut... and will drive this thing to try and break it... so i will have a good amount of seat time on it this winter... i will be giving some real world views.. good and bad... i love yamaha.. but wow... these are something else...

Those are TOP of the Line model sleds for those manufacturers that's for sure. If I was to purchase a couple of other sleds to add to the stable these would be my choice as well. I do however, have that exact Persian Rug in my garage!! Persian is the only way to go!
Sherlock on a serious note, I can't wait to hear your feedback. :letsnow: :yam:

Cat isn't getting my money this year because they canceled my order for a new turbo limited, it wasn't a spring order. So I picked up a new 2011 apex xtx leftover instead. A lot of guys are not happy about not getting there cats this year and also noticed the ones getting them are not getting the top speed they were expecting. Plus I am going to give it a year or two to see how chassis hold up. I will stick with what I know works, reliability means a lot to me.

When you said, they are not getting the top speed, they exspected, you are talking about the 2010,2011,and not the 2012 right,i mean has anyone got a new 2012 turbo cat out on ice/snow yet??

Yes the 2012 are not doing well out of he box they think its chassis related. I'm sure they will do mods to make it better.

My buddies new F8 SnoPro 300 yards from the trailer. Primary would not release properly either stalling the engine or not allowing it to be pull started. Finally locked up on him.

I'm sure once the kinks are out, it will be one scalded cat and will run like hell. Until then, i just get to giggle at him. And he didn't even buy the ditch-pickle green!!!
