That is from Edge, not Yamaha.

Being a snowmobile trademark, they would be using it as such. Not that Yamaha will not use the same name for a product in another division but the USPTO would grant or deny based on their intended use.

Maybe the stuffed an Apex engine in the Viper chassis ?

As long as its not an Apex replacement I'm good for that. Viper chassis is a Nytro replacement only.

Viper is closer to Vector than Nytro. I still don't get this move?? How long before the vector is gone?

I would possibly buy and ride a Vector but not a Nytro or a Viper, So in my books its a Nytro ie not on my list. Reason the Vector is still around is probably because its a popular trail sled. Nytro had bad press and was in my opinion more of a competitor to the Viper as a bump sled. But I could be wrong!

That would be great, because its not like Yamaha couldn't build a new updated sled as good or better than the other brands if they wanted.

sidewinder, the ultimate tree riding machine, likes being on its side, south of 450 lbs (dry weight) and 180+ N/A hp!!! come on Yamaha!!! I know you can do it!!!

Didn't Yamaha also have a snowmobile patent last year on the "VENOM"?? Maybe the Sidewinder is the Apex replacement...and the Venom replaces the Phazer??

Yamaha never knew how to fuel inject a 2-stroke sled . they were years behind back then.
funny because there outboards are the most modern technology.
