Did Yamaha just post a pic of a 2020 SR Viper M-TX 153 on their facebook page? This color scheme looks just like the 2019 Sidewinder L-TX SE and X-TX SE. I don't see this color listed in current 2019 available sleds for a SR Viper so it must be a 2020. Looks very sharp!

Also, note the graphic on the hood. Usually it says Genesis 4 Stroke. This one says Triple Cylinder. Could this be a 2-stroke.....Hmmmmm????

Says Triple Cylinder on the side of the hood

On another thread here there’s a picture that Yamaha had put on there facebook page same color as 2019 sidewinder but looks like it say viper on tunnel and only says triple cylinder on the side panel not genesis 4 stroke!!! Is this the first teaser photo for 2020 and maybe it’s a the Yamaha 2 stroke so many want!! It’s also in a mountain chassis. Zoom in on picture and you can see

Aerial shot from Minocqua?

putz, how do you like the Elka shocks?

I'm thinking it's the 998 N/A in the viper, as most over 1000cc motor's are getting phased out in other manufacturers line ups whether it be dirt or snow.

Isn't this what I just posted on the previous page??? LOL

Steering post is still angled and/so I'd say it's if anything a n/a mtx

But yeah a tripple 2stroke and they have my coins..

It's a picture from Yamaha Europe. Different color combinations over there for 2019 that you don't see in the states. Looks good!

You are right! Dang, here I thought it was a 2020. Good find. Still looks sweet though!

Ouch!! Hit something?
No bad gas from the reservation locked up the piston and tore out the rod. Don’t buy gas at the casino! My buddies 800 proS fuel injected was sputtering all the way back.....I knew right away, I was riding Bitch.

That sux!! Was the Viper piped? They were more temperamental with pipes on them I know. I ran a set one season....CPR's....very finicky.

The most foreseeable sled that I can think of for 2020 would be a viper in sidewinder plastics and 998 N/A.

I think a 998 NA ProCross with the Sidewinder plastics would be a "winner." I think it would be just about the perfect sled for my wife; if they added power steering, it would be "perfect."

Regardless, if Yamaha keeps an sleds in the ProCross chassis, let us hope that they upgrade to the Sidewinder plastics like Arctic Cat did. I love my Vipers, and their looks, but it is ridiculous what you have to do in order to simply change a fuse. Doing it in my heated garage is a pain in the neck, but doing it on the trail would be next to impossible, at least in some conditions. Last week, my buddy blew a fuse on the Sidewinder. It was dark and near zero. We had the panels and hood off, the fuse changed, and reassembled and started in less than 5 minutes. If it had been a Viper, we might still be there.

Yea Bender BB pipes. I had a tempaflow on it tho so it was golden. The fuel even smelled funny, definitely bad.
