Was reading the snowmobile.com mountain shootout and AC didn't even show up giving no reason or communication...maybe something is happening? Also the scuttle on the Snowest forum when someone mentions Yamaha's as blue Cats with Yami stickers is that they may be green Yami's with Cat stickers....
This is two ways.. one wtf is happening
Other - holy crap, just because you didn't get a sled for free your not reviewing it - go arctic!!
Personally I think it's like being discuallified for an Oscar because you didn't give out free tickets.. if the magazines can't stand on their on two feet then it's their problem... If they don't review all it's their loss in the long run

They used to get a lot more than free sleds! The magazines don’t have the pull they used too, people have caught on and new sled buyers are a lot older (and wiser) now. They’re just sore these companies aren’t kissing their a$$ anymore.

I think that's the easiest guess, but is it still the Viper or do they use the Venom name they renewed a year or two ago? And I wonder what power level they release it at since the YXZ is ~110 and the Wildcat ~125. I guess it really depends if there are a few new models to fill HP gaps or if they still have a decent stockpile of 1049's around. My lineup would be the new 847 twin out of the wolvy (70-90hp), 998na (110-12ohp), 847T (150+hp "everywhere") and the 998T (~180+hp "everywhere"). Both 847 engines would be direct competitors to the Ace 900 sleds.
I would agree your lineup makes a lot of sence. I would toss in the 540 2 smoke as a cheap entry level sled. But as good as the procross is.... its up there in age. Its almost been in service as long as the old poo indy chassis. Please give me a japan made chassis!

I'll add a little more to help stir the pot on this discussion ....
Country Cat just shared news on their facebook page regarding a Textron announcement ..... Apparently the Textron Off Road name will now be replaced by Arctic Cat on all dirt products.

New twist to the Arctic Cat brand again today. Textron announced that as of 2020, all Textron Off Road will go back to the Arctic Cat name again. Let the rumors and assumptions fly.
I would have said Arctic Cat was prime to be sold off and possibly to Yamaha. But there is no way they would want the dirt division as well. Maybe they are doing it to squash the rumors of a sled division sell off. Who knows with those textron folks.

This is unrelated to 2020 Yamaha sleds but apparently Textron ATV’s are being rebranded back to Arctic Cat.

Not sure if anyone brought up the fact that Artic Cat is now going to have naming rights on Textron off road machines

I for one am glad. Hate them, love them or indifferent , it would be sad to see the Arctic Cat name leave the sport.
I"ll bet most on here have ridden or owned at Cat at sometime in their lives.

Textron has realized that the Cat brand is more recognized globally and has a following in the sport SXS market, there hope's in doing this will sell more of their designs in the sport utility SXS market, wonder what genius figured that out.
Someone had an interesting comment on Facebook:
“I have a feeling that textron didn’t get some military tenders they were trying for and now they want to get ready to liquidate and cat will sell cause it is a stronger name than their offbreed handle”

And some Bravos
And some Enticers
Yeah I wonder if Polaris military tenders allow them to be sloppy in their product development.Someone had an interesting comment on Facebook:

Anyway, I saw a leaked photo of a 2020 cat Riot today. I can’t upload the screenshot from my phone though.
