What's a Venture i thought they retired those bad boy'sthe comments made about EPS was to try to determine if its new technology or the old technology used by Yamaha in the Ventures...but understand the rant...you're right to expect that discussion lol. Joe

They have this thing called a throttle it regulates how fast you go you be surprised how much more you'll use it on the Pro Cross chassis.I agree with the same 998 engine without turbo but with the Sidewinders look & platform. I could be interested. Dont need the speed or maintenance.

Sleds by Yamaha that aren't just Arctic Cats: VK540, VK pro II, RS Venture TF.
The only things of note there is the fact that you can still get a fan cooled 2 stroke and the 3 speed transmission on the VK pro that they presumably swiped from the Bearcat scrap heap.
To tell the truth; I only came back here to ask Arctic Cat questions and the Arctic Cat forum looked dead.
I don't see Yamaha tempting me away from Skidoo anytime soon. I used to bleed Blue.

That's kinda funny that you only come on TY to ask Cat questions, on a another note its kinda sad to, sadly there are more out there like you that used to bleed blue that Yamaha lost to another brand, just wondering what Yamaha could do or offer to tempt you and others back so you would bleed blue again?Sleds by Yamaha that aren't just Arctic Cats: VK540, VK pro II, RS Venture TF.

This machine already exists. It's called a Viper. Your version would have 5-8 HP less, but would be identical otherwise.I agree with the same 998 engine without turbo but with the Sidewinders look & platform. I could be interested. Dont need the speed or maintenance.

Nope. Not mitsubishi electronics. We know what the 1050 engine can do. No where near as smooth on bottom and on top in the Viper vs Vector. This machine already exists. It's called a Viper. Your version would have 5-8 HP less, but would be identical otherwise.

Have you ridden a 20 or newer Viper way better machine then when they were first introduced. Took them several years to get it figured out but they are really nice machine now. You might want try one Phatboyc better yet if you get the chance to run one side by side with your Vector give it a shot you might be surprised by the out come.

That's true enough, don't see to many here also on the trails, lots of Doo's though, I Believe the Vector engine got a complete make over in 2016 with different drive modes and 20% more power in sport mode verses the 14-15 model years, I don't think the 2016 version of the 1049 in the Vector migrated over to the Viper.Your correct but you don't see any on the trail at least where I ride anyways.

It's really no different than going on TY and asking Ski Doo questions right other than Cat and Yamaha have a lot more in common now days. That's kinda funny that you only come on TY to ask Cat questions, on a another note its kinda sad to, sadly there are more out there like you that used to bleed blue that Yamaha lost to another brand, just wondering what Yamaha could do or offer to tempt you and others back so you would bleed blue again?

Really?? that would be a HUGE power increase. Like 25+ hp increase. That thing would be as fast as an Apex.20% more power in sport mode verses the 14-15 model years

Yep.. true enough, I guess there is a lot of riders out there that bleed blue that are riding Doo's now, I guess the the questions about the Doo's on TY are why the switch and what's so great about the Doo's that made you move away from Yamaha. It's really no different than going on TY and asking Ski Doo questions right other than Cat and Yamaha have a lot more in common now days.

I guess it is different down here. The groups I ride with with has 1 Doo, a bunch of Polaris and 3 998T and a few older Cats. . Some of the Polaris guys wish they had the 998T. NOBODY is considering switching to a Ski-Doo!!!!!!!

Yep that's what they claimed in a Video on Youtube doing a review on the Vector xtx for model year 2016, more like 10-15 hp gain up from like 120 hp, Vectors are Fast.Really?? that would be a HUGE power increase. Like 25+ hp increase. That thing would be as fast as an Apex.
