Does the fact that the RTX now appears to be coming with a Black tunnel deture any RTX buyers?
If I would have known this from the get go I would have strongly considered it. I saw it at the GR MI show and thought the Red on the All black sled looked sweet, even better than the GT. However, I don't like the silver wedge at the bottom of the seat :?

Put deposit on blue ER for the ole' lady. Selling her 02 viper and my 04 warrior. I'm opening a fitness center this summer and I'm not counting on having a lot of free weekends, especially during the season. But if I do find the time to ride, she'll just have to settle for her father in law's v-max 4...or take up ice fishing

Call your dealer, you should be able to switch your order. Especially if the GT's are as hard to get as some tend to believe. Your dealer will want it for his stock to sell in the fall :ORCGodfatherPC said:

There may be a shortage of GT's because of the limited supply of Ohlins. The dealer I called brought it to my attention. Its not Yamaha's problem, its Ohlins. And yes I know Yamaha owns Ohlins.

Well Kevin from Port has about 8 extra of the GT and another really good dealer I work with has 2-3 extra. I am sure many dealers are not as well informed and did not order extra. Bottom line is you can get them. But I'd bet that the GTs that are left come December will go for list or near list price.

Rode my Warrior since 04.Got a 05 mxz 600 ho and I like the short track better for where I ride,mostly groomed to slightly/medium moguls.Very little off trail or deep snow riding.
I`ve had many days of back to back riding on these sleds in different conditions,trail,lake,crosscountry etc, 130 miles on the Warrior one day and 145 miles the next day on the 05mxz.I`ll post more impressions soon.
Yamaha GT should be just fine 8)

I had voted ER, but I just put my $300 down yesterday on a red Attak. In our riding group so far; I have traded an '04 F7 EXT for the Attak, next guy traded his '05 F7 to F8 for an RTX, and the last one trading today an '04 REV for an Attak.
