Apex front shocks 16.5 and 17.5 - did they change the length in certain year?
I have done some searching but can't find a clear answer . . .
I am trying to figure out if Yamaha changed from a 16.5" eye-to-eye to a 17.5" eye-to-eye on certain Apex / Attak models. Has anyone run the longer ones on a 2006 - 2007 Attak? Did it change the handling? It seems like it might raise the front a little along with the roll center.

Maybe they did from 2010 to 2011 or from the RX1 to the Apex other then that there should not be any change that I am aware of.

I also am not aware of any stock Apex shocks being longer than 16.5", unless the Fox Floats on an SE are that length?Apex front shocks 16.5 and 17.5 - did they change the length in certain year?

I have Team Fast air shocks on my 2012 Apex and 2008 Vector that measure 17.5" (eye-to-eye). The stock shocks for both sleds measure 16.5".

All apex and vector trail models have 16.5 shocks. The rx and fx nytro run the 17.5. Most of these aleds in mtx trim will have even shorter shocks.
