I just purchased a 06 apex, I ride with a Mach and F1000. Am i going to get smoked like they tell me i will?

If the mach z has a decent track & is dialed in you will get annhialated. I ride with 3 of em & you can tell which one has an owner that has a clue!

LOL..annihilated? Nice and suttle, bud. lol

I may have to agree tho. You'll have to jazz up that Apex a bit.

The mach weigh's less with more hp. You would think its almost a given. However if that mach is completely stock he will have a hard time with your apex in a quarter mile. The f1000's are turds stock as well. But with a y pipe, bullseyes and clutching they are fast. You might do ok if they are stock, but if not you are gonna get smoked out on the lake. Why dont you race from gas pump to gas pump?

You will beat the F1000 if it's completely stock, but if they tuned it you will lose and same goes for the mach. If they are setup, it will be exactly what Turk said. Lights out.

Call Ulmers , get their mods and you will be King , the Apex is not that far off !!

Not sure about the F1000, but the Mach is no slouch at the pump either...very good on fuel for a 2-stroke!

buddies 1000 renegade stock would get to 105mph in a heartbeat then out of clutch. For example running 80mph both jump on ours I would pull him. 0-80 he would pull me. ('03 rx1 stock/'07 1000 renegade)

I have raced 2 Machs in a drag race and beat both and I out weighed them. In my case it was all about traction, good studs , penetration and weight transfer. Both Machs I raced had marginal penetration in imo. Top end racing I would stay away from, the extra horsepower should win. Pick and choose where you race according to your setup. Imo even if the race is close it is a win because I think the Apex is a much nicer all around trail sled.

my 2 $

My 06' Attak, with Proline and 162 studs and plugs runs side by side with stock 05' Mach...from rolling start. If we drag race....the Attak pulls ahead outta the whole and never see the Mach. This is in less than ideal lake conditions (ie. not glare ice). I know it sounds crazy...maybe I got a fast one....and the Mach is a slow one. One thing about the Mach....from 80 to 100 mph....its like nothing else...wow its crazy fast there. Also the Mach had ~240 studs in stock 1" track. My buddy is switching to a 1.25" sneaker this year, and I expect that he'll probably beat me.

I don't know about annihilated...maybe on top, but my RTX is pretty quick up to 100 or so..plus loads of fun and rides great. Oh yeah, again, running 2 strokes hard burns fuel...they only get good mpg cruising. I can get 14+ running any way I want to.

Yep; enuff mods to get it up to 170 hp & you have a race. There are a lot of crappy running mach Z,s out there but when you run into one that is dialed in with traction you will definately know it. 90% of em are undertracked & clutched poorly. The other 10% are weapons.
