I know the Machs are turds right out of the box. I little tuning and the right clutching and look out they are very fast, that is if they aren't fouling plugs! LOL! Apex stock for stock in very impressive out of the box. One of the best if not the best box stock sled I have ever owned!

What I have found with the mach is that they all seem to run a bit different from ther next one. It seems that the sdi is a fussy rig to deal with. So will let them really fly and not go into limp mode all that much. Some guys that have them don't have a clue, they will say sometimes it just don't seem to go or rev antil I back off for a few seconds. Or it won't rev in deep snow, and don't know why the lights arer flashing like mad on the dash. Just not a consittant running sled.
One's that is not running like what I said, will give a me a good going over, and some that are dogs, just about a 50/50 chance I'll win or loose.
The f10, I have only run one, and it had the goods, bulls eyes and y pipe and clutched, it was a little faster the very last time out in slush and it was the only time it did beat me. the rest of the time I got the best of him and it was close. I also had to tow the cat from a burn down from all the mods too.

Some owners don,t know you have to reset the powervalves after a high speed run. You have to burp rpm,s over 7500 or they stay wide open & you get no low end power. I think this is why you see a wide disprepency in the way they perform.

Myself and another Guy I ride with both have Apex's mines actually an attak. in quebec we raced a guy that was with our group who had a mach. We both could stay right with him til about 60-65MPH after that it was all Mach it wasnt even close.

Haven't seen a Mach that didn't have it's clutch on 6 and had equal traction get beat by an Apex/Attak.
Buddies Mach gets 18mpg's riding touring style.
Still has to put oil in the damn thing though=)

I have been in contact with Ray at Fundy Motorsports and he will have an intake with PCIII producing 170-180hp. Just what I need, now just waiting to see how affordable it will be?

170-180 HP will require more than intake and a PC. His cams and some porting will put you over 180.

......and that complete set up is about 3 grand. I've seen it already. I was investigating on what to do with my sled earlier this year. I figured I might as well just spend the other 2 and get a blower and then I can run from 200hp-240ish hp. I think one would get bored with 170 hp really fast.......I know I would, probably after the first couple rides.

I know two guys who have Mach Zs.. Ive never rode with them, but i know the one is a hellovalot faster than the other one..
The faster of the two smoked a Apex with NOS by more than 10 lengths..
the other one couldnt touch either of them..
Both machs smoked my buddies F7 Snopro that only looses to me by 1-2 lengths..
Ive also heard the F1000 is a turd unless it has a good tuner too.. ALot of guys on the forems were complaining they were getting smoked by stock F8s and couldnt break 100mph..

I think one of my buds saw you last year, Cruiserfest, maybe?
He's got an '05 Mach that is all Gloss Black, Pilots, 120 trail studs and his own clutching and N2O.
He stomped on everyone there that day except for a CPR tb'd Warrior.
He hasn't been beaten except by that Warrior, that includes an SC'd Apex set up by Hauck and an F10 w/N2O.
That Mach puts an #*$&@ beatin' on me even without spraying.

On the gas I whopped up on a Mach, off the gas I beat him too 50 then lights out. I had the ripsaw and 144 studs, he had stock track and no studs, I can't figure why they undertracked that sled from the factory like that.
I'm interested in a F1000, $1500 in bolt ons and you have 200 hp on pump gas, wish it was that easy in a 4 stroke, the nitrous does the trick I guess.

Rehm, are talking about just run what ya brung on Lake Minoqua, or actually running in the Radar Run at Crusier Fest? I am in the IVWSC, the club that runs the radar run for the CCC. I run the board all day. I remeber the Turbo yammie, but not any Mach cleaning up? RRrehm70 said:
