The Attak, I am able to use the factory brackets, to mount the Wahl suspension. Just had to drill new holes in the rear bracket. I am using the same Wahl 121 suspension, and I hope it doesn't look too goofy.
But sucked down, will make it look correct.

Guys,
Mike Hills just posted this on amsnow.com today... Who's going this year?

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is official! At this years Northeast Prosled Asphalt Shootout there will be a slight change in format. We will have a Quick 8 Shootout for normally aspirated sleds, no cc limit, or weight limit, and we will have another Quick 8 Shootout for sleds with power adders (turbos, nitrous, superchargers, etc.) No cc limit, weight limit, or number of power adders limit. You may only qualify in one Quick 8. Also, any sled with any nitrous components on board (fogger nozzles, solenoids, nitrous buttons, bottle brackets, etc.) will not be allowed in the normally aspirated class unless all parts are removed and fogger nozzle holes are plugged. This is what a majority of you wanted, and I believe this to be the best compromise for all parties. As it stands, each Quick 8 should pay a minimum of $2,500 to $3,000 to the winner, depending on sponsorship support. We will also have a trophy and I'll try to have at least a $1000 for the winners of the two Quick 8's to run for and be crowned King of the Asphalt! Stay tuned for more details!!!! Thank you. Mike Hills

Of course there will be the Bracket Racing as well. Monker, Nos-Pro, and Ken went a few rounds last year. Hope we can all go farther this year...

I'll be there, but I'm there every weekend. If this spring goes well, I may make a run at one of the quick 8's.
What do you guys think of the new format? 2 quick 8's instead of 1 quick 16?

That is far better than the #16 guy racing against the #1 qualifier.

Well, looks like 2 quick 16's in July now. This just keeps growing.
There's talk of a mentoring program over on amsnow to get more people involved. I think it's a great idea. I'm sure anyone here would show someone new the ins and outs of asphalt racing. Just ask or come on out to the track one day and I bet you'll be hooked.

I COULDN'T AGREE WITH YOU MORE RYAN!
So Ryan, where did you get this info from and who will be running it? Man I hadn't planned on August, but then we'll get some traction at that time of year!!!! And the spectator turnout would probably be much better. What weekend in August?pro116 said:I might go since amsnow isn't running the event. If thing's change and amsnow put's it on there selves I will not go.
