Wayne-
I doubt I'm that much lighter than you. The aftermarket skid makes a huge differance in time.

If you can get your 60' times down you'll be doing great. I'm not sure what they were like last week, but if you get them down in the low to mid 1.4s you'll drop about 6 tenths overall. Lots of time is made up in the short distances. Terry also has lots of time in his clutches and the sled is lower.

Like corey said.Get your 60 ft times down.
Terry is running a 10 5/8" track that is 2-3 tenths over the 15" wide.

That's true also. So, there's your second differance. 2-3 tenths from the track, about 6 on the skid setup, the rest from clutching/conditions.

My 60' times were still in the 1.65 - 1.75 area. If I can get my track to hook up on the Nitrous I might be able to grab another 1 or 2/10th's. The one time that I ran full nitrous off the start and spun like crazy my 60' time was still 1.68. Pulling that front limiter down helped alot.

It really is amazing what the 60' times tell. When Corey and I line up, he absolutely kills me in the 60'. So much that I can't catch him even though my 1/8th and 1/4 mile speeds are just as high or higher when on the nitrous.

Hey Corey, It's too bad that my wheel blew out. I wanted to race you one more time. I was going to go on the 2nd yellow light just so I could possibly beat you for the first time :) After all, I am 0 for 7 against you...lol

Stounter what gearing do you have?
What are your rpm's on the bottle?

Ryan, thanks bud... just happy to start racing again. RX is being 'sold' as we speak. Turbo Kit is still For Sale... Looking to get rid of it at a very low price...

Buster are you running stock this year? What kind of wheels are those on the skis? I use similar ones only they come in blue or I've used slightly different ones in grey. I get them for around $40cnd each.

Yea, plan on running it 'stock' for a little bit here. Need some more miles on the sled then start on the 'next project'... Those are Proline Ski's that have a black powdercoat on them.

Wayne, get ready to take the Attak for a rip Saturday.....

Ryan, i will be working on the SRX tonight, and will get the clutches straightened out. New MR8 fuel came today, as did the new primary spring. 3 days of racing this weekend, I need to find an ice sponsor.....

Terry,

I definately would like to take that Attak for a rip!!!!

My gearing is stock for 2006 Apex RTX. I think it is 24-38. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. I am running 10,850 on the 50 shot. I'm hoping to leave that clutch setup for the 85 shot. Should be around 11,100 I'm hoping with the 85 shot.

I need to learn what to do to raise my engagment a little.

I'm in Chicago right now...weathers' really nice. Hope it holds up for Saturday.
