Big Boy Spring installed but still bottoming out...help?

Guys my sogi shock that bruce revalved plus installed the 6.5 spring set on min. compression on the dial and second clip plus set on number 4 on cam still feels kinda spungy when jumping on the sled standing still, but when you ride it,it feels good, but i dont have only a couple miles on it,so no real life time yet. And my bud with his gt 5.5 and new revalve has no time on it yet too.

I think I'll have to send it out, someone asked...I'm 200lbs, without gear. Sag is good, just not enough damping I think.

As for the gt/rtx. I'm riding groomed trails. But I bottom on any medium sized bump taken at any speed.

It's frustrating when I can't keep up to my friends on their 600 switchbacks in the tighter stuff, because I'm afraid to blow my knees out.

I know what you mean. Mine was alright with the tight stutters but the big stuff i thought i was going to have to turn around and pick up my teath off the trail. Once you get ti revalved and sprung you will see the difference just sitting on it. I also went through pioneer. Bruce is great with his service and knowledge. Quick turn around.

I have one spring up from the stock Apex GT spring... It it going to be enough for my 225lbs weight plus gear?

Bruce told me I was borderline with my weight @ 205ish plus gear. I am not sure what one spring up from stock is for the GT. Bruce installed the 6.5 spring on mine which is an RTX. I don't know if they use the same springs since the GT has the EC shock.

If you talk to Bruce he will tell you what you should do. You'll get a small interview so he can make a decision.
