Blow a belt? Check your offset

There is nothing wrong with having no shims behind shaft,as it rides up to the snap ring,and does not bother anything,mine never came with a shim behind the shaft,just the snap ring that needs to be there.

Snap ring is not needed if you bolt the driven down solid to to the bearing and don't let the driven float, driven will hold the bearing on fine if bolted solid to it. :sled2:

Good to know Mike,but mine does float some,i am just about done wanting to work on this sled,once I get my clutching done for this new tune,i am finished,oh ya and out of funds,spending all our money on hospital bills and now boiler bills.
