I'm thinking about replacing my Curve ski's with a set of CA Pro RZR. I like the Curves but they are awfully wide and loading them onto a trailer with another sled with Curves is a pain in the #*$&@! for those of you who use the CA skis and those of you you have tried both, is one more favorable than the other? Mostly interested in trail conditions as 90% of the riding is on trail.

C&As carve and hold the the line better in the corners and overall are more aggressive then the Curves. I too hate how big the Curves are in an enclosed trailer.

I used C&A xtx skis for one season then switched to curves for the past 4 seasons. The C&A's bit hard and tired my shoulders out after a long day. I felt they made the sled more tippy because of the bite. On the flip side when they started to push, it wasn't very progressive. That's the biggest thing I will say about the curves is how progressive and predictable they are. I can also ride the sled 200+ miles and my shoulders won't be as sore.

My brother had the c&a rzrs on his nytro and while they handled good, they were an absolute bear to turn. And they were very darty.

He put on a set of pilots and likes them wayyyyy better.

I've had curves, slydog's and pilots. This year I have put 300mi on a set of C&A TRX skis and won't be switching anytime soon. I really like them and my riding style is 100% trail. The trail conditions change so much in our very short season that sometimes I wonder how anyone really knows what does and doesn't work. In one 8hr day in Wisconsin you can go from hard pack to mash potatoes.

I switched to c&a ADX a while ago on my Cat and since put razors on my rev and now my Nytro since 09. What I like about them is that where you point them the sled goes. Harder to turn yes but a good trade off in my book. I have no experience with curve though.

I've been running C&A Trail X's since they came out....love them. They're the least aggressive in the line up and don't wear me out. They are still a wide ski and 2 sleds in a trailer with them still rub each other

i always put C&As on all my yamahas. they do bite hard but at least you know the sled is going where its pointed. i've had the TDX and RZR. they float extremely well off trail

not much input on Curve XS, i think i will try them especially now that they have an anti-darting device that seems intersting... and that C & A dart somewhat ...

I've tried the leading edge this season on my curves. I was doubtful, but it actually made a big difference with darting.

thanks, how do you like the skis, do they turn as much as C & A razors? thnsk

Nos. Depends on your sled. For the newer apex's the C&A Razors are awesome. The power steering tames any aggressiveness. I found they track much better when pushing the sled hard. I have curves on my RX and the work great.
