What else will be there? Are you charging for spectators?

Well if you ever follow my posts you would know I NEED HELP :drink:

Still up in the air if Yamahatim is coming at this point

seriously though heck I never turn down an extra pair of hands. I don't know of anything to do other than I have to try changing my helix to keep me off the rev limiter. You could check tire pressures, or put a round of wedge in it!

See ya there if you want to come. I am heading there Friday to test a few runs and will be in my 2012 Dodge 2500 long box (white) with either my 24' black car hauler or my 2 place with canvas sno cap.

That's the attitude I like to see!

I need to check on a couple things, but looking at Saturday for heading up.

(was going out to Iowa to see my brother in law as he was only given 1 month to live.....but he's so sick now and doesn't want company....so my plans are changing by the minute)

I have all kinds of helix's I can bring and definitely can lend a helping hand :)

Sorry to hear about the Brother in law !!! but that would be awesome I have not had to fight clutch issues for over 5 yrs now and my rememory is a bit fuzzy!!

I will set current one at 3-3 tonight and load up. I am heading there tommorrow hope to be there by 4 pm to get a few tests in. I am stopping by Hauck in Rice Lake to grab more weights just in case I have the puller and clutch compressor with me so should not take much.

Sounds great bud!

I will let you know either way

Just a poll - how many guys are going to this event?

I am really hoping we have a great turn out I think it would put a lot of the chatter to rest if the s/c's ran against the newer front mount turbos in real conditions to see what we really have.

When I run off against other guys I am always alone and lose them out of my peripheral vision and do not know what happened till i get it whoa'd down and most of the time it was in deeper snow on lakes. I then hear well I did not get a good hookup, or reaction time was slow or well you have a 1.6" track, the gas was only 87 octane, my belt is worn........

As far as I know I am one of the first to take the new chasis this far on boost on a trail setup and want to find out if I wasted the $$.

Yamadog - I will be there tomorrow early morning sometime. Bringing my clutching stuff with me and my box of tools. :)

My brother in law has been having on and off days, told me to do the things I want to do and we will be chatting with him on Skype when he feels good instead of us driving all the way out there and him being sick....not being able to spend time with us. He's refusing medication and just letting God take him when he is ready.

No charge for spectators. There should be a pretty good turnout. And yamaha dog, you will have your hands full with the other sleds that will be coming.

Oh I don't doubt it I know there are a lot of guys with big HP that are still trailable it will just be fun to see how this stacks up against similar boost #'s on the Nytro. I have not been able to find anyone this season with s/c or turbo in my class. Depending on how we get picked to line up will kill me if run 1 is a 300+ hp apex and run #2 is against any other big block RX running 25#'s.

I am not picked nor is it setup for doing any of this. I just want some baseline comparrison times to work from. WE all like to think we have the ticket but I know a 9# boosted 3 holer is not going to melt the ice ;)!

Nightrunner06 - I know some of these kits have a lever they can flip for full boost......oh, wait a minute.....the fuel will be lower octane so if they decide to go full boost....booom!

Yamadog, saw your post....you still making the trip? give me a buzz later 920 629-7690

I am out for this weekend

Just spent 2 hrs in the shop reset the secondary to 3-3, siphoned the gas out of it (till it would not run on the tilted trailer and had to put back in) Went to pull up the limiter straps 1 more hole and found this.

Called around to Cat dealers and found a set 40 miles west of here. Which would make the trip 320 miles to run 20 miles and 2 drag runs. Still I loaded the trailer and wnt to leave and then found this! hub on the 2 place is completely gone.My 4 Place is currently full of my buddies furniture - he is moving into a new house tomorrow :o|

I am bummed but trying to change the limiter straps on the gorund before the start and just getting there makes no sense at this point.

I wish you all luck and get some good pics and video

Tomorrow I will be working on a fix for this problem 1st of all I think they have them installed upside down from the factory. The adjustable side should be on the bottom and the tight side of the strap should be on top to keep it from roatating when the skid is compressed. Because this way the slack is forced into the shock as the loose side of the strap rotates when the skid comes up.
