Cat DNA Strikes again! -CHAINCASE TENSIONER ROLLER WHEEL FAIL

Thanks so much for responding! Waiting on getting my top gear bushing pressed in by DMC and hopefully out this thing back together.

Mine did the same thing. I washed it out with brake clean but there was still a slight 'tick' when i spun it. Pour some oil and it and slapped it in the chaincase.
When it was apart one year later it ran smooth with no 'tick' - and that was 15,000km ago now.

I switched out my tension arm with the pefi tension arm jewelry with the slider pad instead of the wheel. Had the stock arm with the wheel screws just red locktighted and they never came loose but the arm was wearing a groove into the pivot post on the chaincase housing. Pefi has a nice brass bushing to stop that

X2. Wow what a nice upgrade. Expensive yes but really nice upgrade. After I received it and installed it was obvious they spent some time designing this.

Seems mostly unanimous that PEFI hardware is best in the business. But along with that comes higher cost.

Yes I would agree with this. You can just tell when you have the upgrade in your hand. I do not have the fuel pump/cap/fuel return upgrade but guessing that's really a well made product also. I have a few things from them.
