The D&D is flatter except at heel. But man that 8fp is beefy at end! Look where most of my wieght ended up. Tip holes are full.

63.4 grams, you're making real good power to be throwing weight like that with such aggressive weights, your hard work and mods has certainly paid off.
That's with the 25-45 gearing. Bit low. 9050 last ride. Clutches nowhere near maxed. Was at 9100 with 2-1-3-3 and stock gearing clutches both maxed. Still need a bit more. But thanks. Those weights really allowed me to try different things without spending hrs tuning clutching. I will never run anything other than magnets ever again.Never would have tried them if you wouldn't have sent them. Now will try the OSP and see63.4 grams, you're making real good power to be throwing weight like that with such aggressive weights, your hard work and mods has certainly paid off.

I tried to drill an 8FP weight and smoked two drill bits and didn't do much. Anybody have an idea for a drill bit strong enough to drill these?

After much testing I now prefer the "Soft Touch Spring" from Barn Of Parts to the Green/white/green. The soft touch seems to have the same finishing rate but the take off is MUCH smoother and less track spin. He may also have some used 8FP weights for sale. http://www.barnofparts.com/Soft-Start-Clutching.html
Nothing wrong with GWG I just like the lower engagement for soft snow.

Will the clutch weights work with the evo reflash? or are they not heavy enough now? I'm sure weight has to be added but not sure if enough can be added to the tip after the reflash.

I have a set of 8FP sitting on my desk that are 78 grams with regular rivets that came out of an Apex so yeah I think you can get enough weight
I think Tim managed to get 85 grams in a set of 8fp.

Stingray, you prefer the soft spring from BOP over the spring in the Big Venom kit from Thunder Products or are those pretty close in performance?

I prefer the soft touch spring over everything I have tried. 4 stroke torque engine needs soft take off spring to minimize track spin in my opinion.
