history first,
bought a sled (btx-se 153" 1.75") used this year (and original owner has no idea what was in it, had someone else do the work to it)
he had hurricane stock muffler tunes in it (up to 270), it now has the 3 bar sensor, hurricane quite performance muffler, super spool tunes (240,270, 300) and I geared it with 22/36.
no trying to tune the clutching but want need starting point

can not find the following information
primary has a Black with a gold line and a red dot (what is this spring and whos is it?? rates?) can not find info anywhere

secondary has
black yellow (again I don't know if that is stock one from Yamaha or after market) what is it and whos? rates?
helix is 8KC50 it stock one is this a 50deg straight ramp?

I also put in the dtya-1 Dalton weights

engagement is low like 2400-2500 and top rpms are low as well (even in 300 tune) pulling like 8600 rpmson long pull

If you just up graded to a Hurricane muffler tune the best thing to do would be to call Dave at Hurricane and ask him what you should have in it for clutching. You are gonna get a bunch of suggestions from this site and unless you have some clutching experience and a whole bunch of parts you will be chasing your tail. Just call Hurricane and get what you need and be done with it.

Primary spring appears to be gold-red-gold which is stock.
Secondary spring stock.
Are the weights empty?
Rollers OK?
What belt?
It should pull those weights empty.

That is some tall gearing.

I agree STAIN I realise it a BTX with 1.750 track but that's pretty tall. What do they come with stock and what size drivers.

That thing is geared for 154mph!!! That is is with the 3.0 pitch track. My RTX is geared for 123mph with 300 hp.

8 tooth=137
7 tooth=120

An 18 BTX parts break down shows a 50 bottom gear.
You have the Daltons already, so you just need to figure out what gearing you want and adjust weights accordingly which may include lightening them.

It’s geared for 122mph (no overdrive)
I will def play with the weights
Just wanted to know what the rates of the springs that are in there are so I could get a couple to try at higher rates (I think I figured out the primary it’s not black gold red it maybe black bronze dalton (bronze, gold who can tell diff in a dot! And the red dot maybe something the installer mark on it who knows!)
Is the stock helix a straight 50deg?

stock helix on an 18 winder is straight 35 degree.

Is 122 mph feasible with that 153 1.750 track that's a lot of churing and burning going on.

I agree, that's alot of gear for that much track. What are you trying to do with the sled, lake race, off trail, etc? IMO you're gonna have a heck of time clutching that thing, and keeping belts on it.
