Hi Pete, I'm new to this forum (joined based on my interest of purchasing a SW) but familiar with accidents and unfortunately death. I just wanted to say may God be with you and give you the strength to get through these events. I wish you all the best, I see you have quite a few of friends on this site and I'm sure you have many, many more so stay upbeat and follow doctors instructions and lean on friends for conversation and comfort as recovery time can bring us down sometimes. Be strong my friend.

Uh oh I hope he doesn't look at your avitar. He might have a heart attack. Jk. Hope everything goes well and speady recovery

GREAT! The Beast survives his crash, survives his surgery, then gets a beating by his wife because he keeps reading Gaige's posts over & over instead of taking that "little blue pill". I'm more worried that after surgery he'll have nothing to do, but post on TY so much, he gets Metacarpal Syndrome & can't use the throttle next year...

Thanks jester,i just got home, and they did the chicken sandwhich om me,instead of the bigger chicken dinner, which would have been down the middle of my chest. Man I could not understand why I am still alive, when they showed me my old valve vrs my now new one. They still cut 4 holes in my,one on top of chest and one under lower chest, plus neck and another down on inside of leg, down by my home boys lol.

I was hoping my carpel tunnel surgeries were behind me steve, but maybe not lol.

Pete...It sure looks like you've been put to the test in more ways than one these past few months and have come out of your experiences a better man. It's great news to hear that your surgery was successful and that you're on the mend with both your body and sled. There's been a lot of TY brothers who've been pulling for you through all of your tribulations and we all wish you the best while you heal up and get ready for next season with your almost new again SideWinder.

Keep the faith brother.

Very glad it all went well. Now you know there is still time! I bet you take it for a little spin.

Wow sounds like you just went through quite an operation but came out OK Beast.

Hope to hear how fast that sled of yours is, next year. Maybe even too fast!! Ha Ha huh??

Oh ya,i would like to for sure, maybe in April,if we still have any base left,i may be very tempted. My buddy shaune, now has 30 miles he has put on it,and he said its getting better with every mile. But we did gear it quite high, and I may have to have him remove on tungsten in each arm,and install 4 washers in stead,as the shift rpm is quite low at 8800-8900 allen wants it to 9150 to 9400.

Snowbeast, I am glad that you came through the other side ok. Hope you heal fast and ride faster. Your positive attitude and faith is a good example for all of us.

Dave
