Thanks steve, mine were still ok,and you would need to be looking hard to see any scratches. We have more snow now steve,my oldest son and one other young man I may as well call another son are heading up to patten now,so I will know soon enough how the trails have held up.Well, you're up & running before your 'Winder so YOU win! Steve, you are correct.Man I am so freaking boared now, there is only so much anyone can write about a sled,he has not even driven on snow yet?? How did I do steve, better. lol hey did I tell ya,my little house up in patten got broke into, and furnace went out and froze up all my pipes, this was day before my surgery,WTF,must be a conspericy!! lolGREAT! The Beast survives his crash, survives his surgery, then gets a beating by his wife because he keeps reading Gaige's posts over & over instead of taking that "little blue pill". I'm more worried that after surgery he'll have nothing to do, but post on TY so much, he gets Metacarpal Syndrome & can't use the throttle next year...

Beasty, did you ever find out what happened to the throttle and how did you make out with the chain case?

On the throttle NO,chain was wrong one for gears, and just broke, but now we have other problems, sled went up to Houlton for two days,we changed the gears back to 22/41,which should of been good with the weight set up Ulmer had for his kit,but still no rpm, rips on bottom, tearing up the snow,no real hook up,and rpms drop to 8400 and no top end,did see 109 gps once but that was at 115 speedo, that tells me he is still spinning bad. But what the hell is going on with its rpm? Oh ya,he had the clamp that holds the manifold togeather with the turbo exhaust going to the turbo, from the manifold on the motor,it is now fixed for now,and he now saids it sounds much better, but rpms still no good, still 8400,he said an apex ran right by him on the RR bed, pissed him off. And he saids the thing still rachets every time he gets into it,i just cant seem to figure that part out, when we had it with the stock, tunnell before the crash,it never racheted,i can only think it has something to do with that MTX tunnel.I guess next thing to do is check plugs and than do a compression test, and also check those vacume lines that TD ,s Ben discovered were routed wrong, but the darn sled has never thrown any codes ever, confused in Maine.Beasty, did you ever find out what happened to the throttle and how did you make out with the chain case?

Well,it appears as though thatMTX tunnel may have to be modified some more yet. I guess from his observation and now with 650 miles on her,the rachet problem may be from that skid being set up for the 3" paddle vrs our little 1.25,it does not appear as the tips are hitting the drivers, not in its current location that is. But if we were to use the most upper and forward holes, well than we may have a driver hitting the rail tip issue. So we may try locating it higher into tunnel, but not quite as far forward, sense it seems to rachet badly now at much slower speeds,as far as low rpm goes, well that's another story, may be boost leak, hose routing of hose wrong, who knows,he said don't worrie,we will find it,and fix it.

Check the clocking on the drivers. They have to be right on with extroverts. Sure that shaft is straight? Sorry I just can't believe ratcheting unless something is way out of whack. Have never heard a single complaint of track ratcheting. Could it be the tips actually stabbing the track? Is that what you are saying? Has he tightened the track? Under high load and speed track bunches up in front. Tighten the track tight and see what happens.Well,it appears as though thatMTX tunnel may have to be modified some more yet. Ya,it now looks as if we will have to mimic the same hole location as my stock tunnel had, meaning raise the holes up and forward some, from where it now is,so drilling will now be on our agenda, but if I cant get it right, well next summer or fall,i will get the tunnel for the LTX and go from there.Check the clocking on the drivers. Adding to this. Maybe when you blew the chain, the drivers were thrown out of sink/balance or something was damaged/bent?Check the clocking on the drivers. They have to be right on with extroverts.
