I'm not much of an atv rider but the general impression I got was very similar between the two. The PML has taller steering than some of the other models but I still found myself leaning forward a little bit. I'm 6'4" so may feel different to shorter people. The narrow seat and tunnel really lend to the atv feel. I really liked the running boards. Sidehilling, they are going to drag in the snow. The sled feels like its going to be a jumper.

I can see one fault right from the start, Yamaha guys are going to have to learn to live with snow on the running boards. Not good!
