I'm back in Illinois. Not exactly sure what I'm going to do?!?! Going to stay here for another year or two, I think.Where you going?
BTW, the cost of living in Florida is relatively cheap, being so close to paradise.
The natural destructive forces are tearing the state apart. Homeowners insurance is climbing at an alarming rate. With each step being 50 to 100% increase as of right now. One year you'll get quoted $2k and the next year it can go up to $3k or $4k.
If I told you everything you wouldn't believe it's real.
The last hurricane left the city of Fort Myers in shambles. Homes left unrepaired, as insurance companies scramble to fortify their finances.

You know, when those weights were published, I was highly skeptical based on my own experiences with my 2018 Sidewinder, and my wifes base model 2019 900T Adrenaline. Her sled feels a lot lighter than my SW. Both in the garage, and on the trail.People are already conveniently forgetting the facts but I keep a copy of the SnoTrax weights on current sleds on my phone just to remind the Doo riders that our SWs are not the heavy pigs they imagined. LOL it was the only amo they had on us and now they have nothing...I love to see their reactions when I pull out my phone just to remind them....silence is golden.
I weighed my X-TX LE with its 141"x 1 3/4" track the way I ride it, full fluids, tools ect and its even lighter at 646lbs and that is even with the BOP extra rad kit installed which makes it 5 lbs lighter then a 850 Renegade 137". The Gade rider in our group has been dissing our SWs as heavy pigs since I got mine...lol....he is very distressed now....its all he had

My 2024 900R is heavy. I haven’t ridden it on the trail, but it feels every bit as heavy as my SW did moving it around the garage and lifting it on to dollies. It could be even heavier.

In reality they are all tanks....throw enough horsepower on anything and it will fly.You know, when those weights were published, I was highly skeptical based on my own experiences with my 2018 Sidewinder, and my wifes base model 2019 900T Adrenaline. I rode approximately 30 miles Northeast of Toronto. You must be somewhat close to that?

The SE shocks could be my problem. We have one LE in our group, and have rode his SW, but I'm not sure I noticed a difference and honestly wasn't paying attention. I'm planning on ordering a '25 SRX so if I'm able to secure one, my '21 will go down the road.
I get to ride all of them all when putting tunes in them. Doos and Yama/Cats. Get to ride and tune lots of them. I guarantee if you did something to re-valve the SE or get rid of those awful shocks it would be a very different machine. It's the one model of SW I cant stand to ride, along with the longer tracked non-coupled skids, I cant stand that one either as its very wheelie happy like the Doo's are.

74Nytro & Hammer70, based on my limited knowledge of the area, have you too (as well) suffered from lack of snow over the years? I've been trying to get back up there. Snow seems hit or miss?

Lots of snow, but sticking around is the problem. Always optimistic however.74Nytro & Hammer70, based on my limited knowledge of the area, have you too (as well) suffered from lack of snow over the years? I've been trying to get back up there. Snow seems hit or miss?
If you've never rode Northern Ontario I highly recommend it. North of Timmins/Kirkland Lake.

Never have...I would assume the area is gorgeous. Completely unmolested by society. Well....lol.Lots of snow, but sticking around is the problem. Always optimistic however.

There's an Arctic blast expecting to hit around the 7th. Should help freeze things up a bit.
Sorry about my housing spiel in Florida. Right away I assumed you were moving there Lol. Forgive me.

I ran a small sector of business for a company, 80% of the business came from 20% customer base.80% of the doo riders that complain about the winders weight ride Harley’s in the summer. 20% of all winder riders have tunes and could care less what doo riders think.
100% of the above is a misuse of the Pareto principle (the 80/20 rule)
Ran my own company the same thing applied.
I can also break down where material costs, and how 80% of the material was bought from one vendor. Purely incidental.
Actually I have a whole host of things that you won't be able to explain.
I'm sure you'll just dismiss it.
I only post up because I know there are business people here that can review some of their findings as well.
Typically when this happens you have no comment. However I still enjoy your responses here.
80% of sleds will go unmolested, not even close to possible. Hmmm hahaha
Note: every rule has exceptions or variations.
