I have mine reversed right now and found the same thing. I have it on switch so I can turn it on whenever I want, I found when moving and the switch on, the sled would heat up, when I turned it off it would cool. The air defiantly fights itself when moving.
Stone88 when did you try the fan reversal?

Well I am always going to be going over 100mph now, I better turn mine back... It makes sense that if the fan would kick on when going that fast it could be a stalemate for the air being forced thru.
Yea you will!
I never have because I knew it wouldn't work but your the expert apparently. Let me see try and suck hot engine air through the rad opposit of the air coming through it or cold fresh air cooling it down. Used mine this weekend my temps were 165-170 and my buddy were 185-190Stone88 when did you try the fan reversal?

I was doing around 100mph at time. So lower speeds its also not a issue.
When you switched it back, I'll bet you picked up another couple of MPH because the fan was no longer trying to blow you backwards!!
Hey, somebody had to say it!

Been running without a fan for about a year and a half no problems in any conditions. Dont think its needed unless you idle for long periods. at least for me no problem.

Agreed, but I have yet to see the fan come on ours running at speed.

As is the case for most of those that actually tried it. Of course there can be exceptions for any rule, but after almost 2 years this is the first we are seeing of any issues.
I did say its a WARNING. Go ahead and do it if you choose. My problem is solved. Put it back to stock.
Thats why! When you switched it back, I'll bet you picked up another couple of MPH because the fan was no longer trying to blow you backwards!!
