Sorry not at all. 30yrs of Yamaha clutching and I do not believe it to be the root of the problem. Never has been never will be.

I definitely want to try everone's clutch setup this year on my Viper when it's on asphalt.
Maybe I could make a contest out of it...."Which kit is the best?"

Im glad to jump in...first the sled is geared way to low...yamaha's clutching is never a problem...just a compromise...for those who want to make it run...if you want a racier setup...its completely different than what comes stock...I could make it a beast lol if anyones local I need to look at their sled..

agreed.... this set up would make a slow viper even slower. sounds like more of us are crazy!
you need to take a step back and realize your set up for elevation has no relevance to a sea level to 1000 ft set up

Can you really be that stupid? Belt slipping has been reported by users at all altitudes. Quit following around posts and spouting nonsense someone might actually believe you.

calm down, you need to realize your 8fs wts are not aggresive enough for low elevation. you need them cause you dont make the same power, how hard is that to understand for you ?

others are correct, all you have done is create a mountain clutch kit.....

I ask that you test before you claim it doesn't work.

There is lots of snow in Ontario yet. You bring your Viper here and I will run you. I think you have ran turboed and supercharged sleds as per your sig line and that is confusing you. the elevation does not effect you with forced induction. But you are running and N/A with a flatland clutch set up stock. You are not making the same power at elevation and of course without the power you can't pull that spring. You are making a mountain clutch kit. Koodos to you. If choose to come run me and lose, well I can always hail you a cab. I suppose with the release of the 2015 SR Mountain your stock clutch kit should be available in stores soon. Lets end this BS name calling debate each go to our separate rooms..lol

I will no longer try to educate you on advanced clutch theory as we can both agree it is a waste of time, but please phrase your "opinions" as such and admit you have not tested the things you are critisizing. Some people may not know you have not tested or even own a Viper and believe you. Bad info is the bane of online forums........
I think I choose to no longer answer your posts. buh bye.

A 2015 Viper MTX with turbo will be testing this setup sometime very soon by a well known vendor. I will post results when I have them.

Perfect, post em in the mountain section. your test results with have nothing to do with a non-turbo 135 hp viper...
