Assembling stub shaft tomorrow...shaft is in the freezer. My question is how much green loctite do I apply to the surface of the outer bearing to housing?

Just smear the outer surface of the bearing so it is covered with a light coating of green...it will force any excess out when its assembled anyway.

Man I hate green loctite removal.
That #*$&@ is like welding, it ain't coming off with our some extreme heat. Oh and once you get it apart and it's warm you have to wipe it off or it will reharden.

Thin coat - no gobs or drips.
That stuff means business- it sets quick and is a bugger when it comes time to disassemble

If I ever use it, then its a single drop on the bearing and drop the bearing into a heated pocket.Thin coat - no gobs or drips.
