Welcome to the site Alain Vmax - Impressive milage for a '05.

This past winter was my first season on my 2006 Apex ER and I managed to put exactly 1,900 miles (which is a decent/good season around these parts) on her. Awesome sled! I came off Cats (most recent 03 zr900 and then an 05 F7) in which after (2) 1,500-2,000 mile seasons I would sell them. I can see with the miles you guys are putting on your 4-strokes...I will be keeping the Apex for a while.

4yrs...8,000 miles is my goal.

I was hoping/planning to put over 10,000km on my 2007 RTX last season. With no open trails until mid February, I only managed to put 4700km (2950miles) on.

Durability wise the sled was excellent. Not a single thing broke or needed repairing on the sled (other than a pair of hyfax and a couple pairs of carbides) and that was riding in some of the absolute worst conditions I've ever ridden by far. The studs, skis and hyfax did take a beating though and I found the rear suspension far too soft for aggressive riding.

Hopefully this year we'll get some decent snow and I'll get the rear suspension stiffened up.
