I’m only guessing you didn’t do any damage.
You should be able to connect your mobile to the flasher via BT with it plugged in the sled and the key on.
I had a question about the button install and Patrick answered my PM within a couple of hours.

Ok, so I’m best served hooking/plugging the flasher back into the sled(no access to PC), and connecting to Bluetooth that way then...right? It should be able to find my VIN with it hooked up to the sled I would imagine, right??
Do I need to turn the key on to do this?? Or is just plugging it in with key off enough??
And did I do any damage to the flasher by plugging it into the wall?? I wouldn’t think so, but who knows??

I will say it took me a while to decipher the instructions, they were a bit confusing as they are written for multiple devices and packages. I had to make a few custom connections to get things wired up the way I wanted. I made a couple of calls to Hurricane and they assisted as needed. Ryan was very helpful. No chance to ride yet but everything is hooked up and working. I was considering getting a large android tablet to use as a dash and GPS but for now I'll use a Garmin for trail maps and my cell phone to keep an eye on the engine if needed.
