I think the Sport Package is more than enough for most people and then just add the Torsion Spring Spacer. That's what I will be getting..

Any more feedback on the Hygear stuff. Took my shocks off last night and plan on sending them out or taking them to Pioneer. Lotta jack though!!

I will be able to tell you how well the Trail Pro is on December 7th.

I just pulled the trigger for the full sport x package. Can't wait to test it out on the snow. I hope the extra $350 over the sport package is worth it

just go my shocks back from hygear. all looks good but with the trail pro package you need to do a little modification on the rear shock to reinstall it. hope it makes it handle like ross says.

Shipped my shocks out to Ross this morning........ getting the Sport X package......... couldn't stand not having the air cans since those floats are so darn stiff!
The wife asked how much it was going to cost her and I said "Can't tell Ya" Better to ask for forgiveness than permission!

I just picked up my shocks from Bruce at Pioneer. I just didn't want to spend that much on Hygear stuff plus I think hevalving will be a leap of inprovement for $240. What's to loose for that price. According to Bruce, the Nytro RTX Fox Floats are valved way stiffer then the ones on the Apex RTX. This makes no sense since the Apex is a lot heavier up front. He's adding some plusher valving all the way around with a more progressive stiff resistance as the stroke speed increases for me. The stiffness will be about the same as the Apex valving even though it's a heaviear sled because of how hard I ride.

Now you just need to get the rest of your parts ordered from Ulmer!

It came with some paper work explaining the adjustments, but I didn't see any specific setup chart.

LeeKo said:I used their front triple rate springs on mine last year and really thought they were on to something with the handling of the sled. One of my buddies had them revalve his dirtbike and a sled with good results. This summer I did the fronts with the trail pro package and had them anodize the outside and inside of the reservoir and shock body black. I can't wait to see how they work.
Leeko,
What was the biggest gain by using just the tripple rate springs.
I have a set on my shelf waiting to be used. I only have 100 miles on my XTX. I plan on running the stock springs first then the tripples. Do some A to B testing.
