Hygear twisted springs

Not sure the ride would get better then other shocks, BUT the ability to adjust the ride Hight of the front end and still keep the plush ride if desired would be awesome.. IMO. that would make those springs better, so I guess it depends what your looking for or to improve.
I am not unhappy with the ride of the stock Zero Pro 1.5 RC shocks. I am just always looking to make things better... within a reasonable cost. I don't want to spend the money for the QS3 shocks if I really wouldn't take advantage of their benefits and definitely not if the ride on the most used setting is not really any different than what I have now.

Spent 11k miles on the sled your running and the same shocks(stock).. Are the QS3R better? Yea.. For what they cost? maybe not so much. I don't smash moguls and ride past late afternoon so the standard SE shocks were plenty good for me.. All about how hard you ride and WHEN during a day. I like to be off the trails when the bars fill up. Also get them refreshed every year.. The biggest weakness on the standard SE shocks is the middle shock.. Cannondale has a upgrade for that shock that helps a lot.

It's possible your spring preload is way tight. Just be aware if you loosen the preload do it with the skis off the ground and shocks extended and to ensure there snug against the retainer, too loose the retainer could fall out.
Most all SRX's have similar spring preload , and mine is the stock setting .

I am an aggressive rider and the group I rode with runs pretty fast and pounds the bumps pretty good, if necessary. We ride mostly Newberry - Grand Marais - Munising - Seney areas and all of those trails can be great... or complete #*$&@ and severely whooped out. Still, I think I have decided that the standard SE shocks with the proper Hygear spring setup is likely the better option for me for the front.

They are nice shocks with mostly great parts.

We are riding that direction from Munising today.

Yes. He did them last fall. Great work.
Steve was the only one that I could find to fix my shock , and had the parts !
We are lucky to have his expertise to call on ., not only as a member but a vendor .
I had someone locally do my simple maintenance , but that person mentioned nothing about the shrader and cap replacement , so Steve sent me those parts for my 3 other shocks and I had the local guy redo that part of the redo .
Turnaround was great .
I encourage anyone on this site to reach out to him if you are not sure that your set up is performing to the way it was ,or you think it should .

I'm just trying to suggest something that might help find what you want to accomplish. I'm aware all Srx have the same springs, it's possible yours was set up tight.
If you want , it's up to you, raise the front of the sled and loosen the preload on the springs and you might find it helps.
