Have one for center shock that worked great on my viper. Haven't tried it on the winder.

I was thinking about doing the front shocks on my 19 se, not happy with stock setup, have the center spring on that I had on my apex xtx, made great improvement on apex, could actually bear to ride it on stutters lol. Works well on sidewinder, wanted to lighten up steering and help with stutters, when stock I got the light front without beating you up, but now tuned I had to back off to keep front on the ground but still works well just a little harder steering

I don’t have the Hygear twisted springs, however, I am running dual-rate springs on the fronts and the center shock in skid on my Elka’s. Absolutely love the dual-rate, especially through the shutter bumps. It’s like butter! I would expect the same with the Hygear twisted springs.

I’ve put those on my sled and had like 500 miles with them, and honestly I can’t tell difference between them and stock springs. Maybe I’ll try some more adjustments next time.

Only have a couple hundred miles on the front shock twisted spring set up.
I went with the pro setup with the adjustable crossover stops.
I set them up they way they recommend.
1/4" of preload on springs and left the crossover adjustment set as I received them.
I had to loosen my center spring (cat 160/260) a couple of turns to match up with the lowered front end.
Goes like butter thru the chop. Corners better as my a arms are level.
Have not had them in the big moguls yet.

After a season of riding with this set up I find for my liking that the main springs are too soft.
Called hygear a couple weeks ago and person who answered the phone took down my info and never got a call or email back from their tech guy.
Maybe I'll put the stock springs back on with the other stuff on top of it.
Never bottomed out the front end with stock springs but with this hygear setup I find the front end bottoming out in the rough trails.

I have them on my current chassis and have used the center shock package on a previous sled. I'm very satisfied with them.

The main springs are likely 1.88" ID springs (common). I don't know what length they are but that is easy to measure with them off the sled. If you pull one of the main springs, you should find a spot on one of the ends where there is no powder coat and they engraved the spring rate. Once you know that, you can buy heavier springs. The stock single-rate springs that come on the standard SE front shocks are 120-lb/in rate. The SRX springs are a 90/145-lb/in rate. You would not want your main springs to be any lighter rate than either of those. After a season of riding with this set up I find for my liking that the main springs are too soft.

If you can find a number on the upper, smaller spring as well, I can very easily calculate what your effective spring rate is.

Do your clickers still click? Might be time for refresh and replacement of those unreliable reservoir caps. Send them over when done for season. After a season of riding with this set up I find for my liking that the main springs are too soft.

You did mine last fall and installed the new caps.
I dropped them off on the way to the Milwaukee snow show. All 4 shocks..
The clickers still work fine.
