One thing to remember is when you nail it, it will over boost you have to hold it for a 5 seconds at least to let the boost settle in and the AFR to catch up.
Good to know. Thanks. I may try initially changing all my GEMS settings to the ones you listed with the exception of the Red (main jet) to see what the other changes did before making the WOT adjustment.

I'm not sure if you have the information direct from MPI. You may find this helpful, or not.Ok, so I suck at colors. had my wife watch colors
1 green 4

I just sent these setting to a guy and he went from 10 mpg to 14, not sure how they differ form Ulmer.
Green 2
Yellow 3
Red 2
Green/Blue 3
Red/Blue 7
So you have not noticed any lean conditions with some of the changes being so extreme? What I am seeing is that you are lowering (leaning out) all of the settings in addition to greatly raising transition point from cruising to WOT (main jet) mode. I realize that each sled could be a bit different and I will need to watch my gauge but it almost seems extreme when you are leaning out the Boost Adder (Mode 4 - Green/Blue), the Main Jet (Mode 3 - Red), and substantially raising the transition from Cruise to Main Jet (Mode 5 - Red/Blue). I understand you probably have quite a bit of time testing things to get to these numbers but I am always one to question everything. I am assuming the sled you have using these setting are running 91-93 octane pump gas, correct?
Stock MPI Low-Elevation Settings vs [Mr.Sled] Settings
Mode 1: Green - 4 [2]
Mode 2: Yellow - 4 [3]
Mode 3: Red - 3 [2]
Mode 4: Green/Blue - 5 [3]
Mode 5: Red/Blue - 3.5 [7]
I am going to change mine to your settings for the next ride but I may not change the Red yet and may only bump the Red/Blue up to 5.5 or 6 to see what that does before going to far. My more free flowing modified MPI muffler may require more fuel at low boost to WOT than the stock MPI trail muffler.

When set up with MPI settings the sled is fat as hell so just made some changes and this is what worked for me on a few sleds that I have worked on. You can try it, and from what I was told a few pounds of boost to no load cruising I have not seen any crazy extreme lean conditions.
If you dont like what I have provided dont take the Mode 5 all the way to seven and go a point at a time, it will change the entire range.

I wouldn't worry about running too lean on Mr Sled's settings as that's what he gave me for settings 2 years ago and I run the intake through the hood, straight line header and mpi loud can.So you have not noticed any lean conditions with some of the changes being so extreme? I run it through the ringer on and off trail up to the rev limiter and it runs good, if anything it feels a bit rich yet but I don't run gauges either, mpi say's you can't set that gems controller to burn the motor down.

Awesome! That is good to hear. I will try them. Easy enough to adjust on the trail, if needed.

So your not using any boost or afr gauges? I wasnt going to but seem like everyone thought I was crazy.I wouldn't worry about running too lean on Mr Sled's settings as that's what he gave me for settings 2 years ago and I run the intake through the hood, straight line header and mpi loud can.

That was biggest gripe, didn't really see much that I liked that looked good and unobtrusive. So your not using any boost or afr gauges? I wasnt going to but seem like everyone thought I was crazy.
