It looks bent to me

I just don't see that working , it didn't on my subframe when I bent mine , so yes I'm questioning grizzly on this . It also depends on how bad it bent too !

There definitely are exceptions to the rules, but its worth a shot before you run and throw a bunch of $$ at something that will ultimately bend again. I have about 8000 on my 09, and have watched the spring gap go back and forth like many others have experienced. And when I get the time and ambition to strip the front end down, I will be adding gussets. But until then, I'll ride it and enjoy the cash I still have in my wallet. ;)!

X2. And since I ate dirt riding foolish early this season, I dont have the same nerve any more. Gettting too old for that. So I should be ok for awhile. And I accept any advice Grizz offers.

I had two sleds come down from Canada for repairs last week. Both had bent subframes and I was able to correct one with the pry bar technique and then reinforce it but the other took a hit that sheared the spindle, bent the lower a-arm and buckled the frame at the steering boot rivet. The severity of the damage was to much for a pry bar and the frame will need replaced. At some point common sense needs to kick in.

It's hard to argue the amount of experience I have with these sleds but I have no problem with others questioning my knowledge. It keeps me thinking and at times makes me question myself. ;)!

Well for just the fun of it i jump on the computer at work to run an estimate for the subframe replacement. :o|

I can do the job in less than 6 hours and would charge $180 total labor. The dealer's labor is crazy.

Funny thing is this is the lowest in the area by 23 bucks an hour.

I bent 2 frames before I smartened up and put in grizz's gusset kit. No problems since.

The first time I bent it I noticed a drastic difference in the handling.
