This one has the info I need. Big flashing warnings if any thing gets out of whack. Hopefully holds up, this is not made for outdoors and is raspberry pi based so not the most robust. We shall see

Thanks. First time playing around. I repaired a 600 ski Doo for my daughters. Those vids are more cheeky and fun. I have part 1 done on twin charged. I’ll still post pictures and stuff but the vids are so I remember crap lol. That's a pretty awesome video. Nice Job!

A little long and boring with some FUNK added in the middle for some fun LOL.
This is a overview using the sled as a prop, I have covered everything in this thread so far. Part 2 will be the meat as I am installing the Motec. I don't have that done yet.

The Motec is so cool! Spendy but wow it can do literally anything I can dream of.
I think tonight I will try to remove the relays and figure out my PDM and set up the display before I stuff it all in the sled. The front bulk head has zero access inside of it, super annoying. I need to figure out a plate and mount the motec on rubber isolators to keep vibs to a minimum. Also I don't really like the exposed wiring at the plugs in the front of the sled that I normally stuff with snow. I think I will try to protect that somehow as well. There is so much to mount to get it all to fit in there, tons of work yet.

you could always mount it inside an outerwears baggie to help keep the snow and water out.

Left the Motec hooked up for about a week and battery was dead and shorted to only 6V! It’s 5 going on 6 years old but that seems highly suspicious! I wonder if it draws the battery just sitting there. I’ll need to watch this closer and order a new battery. Dang.

Well I am all Motec'd up with help from barry racing here, and the amazing Motec info available online I feel confident I have my base map ready to go. I will start with firing on the OEM injectors and just getting my feet wet on data logging on safe engine parameters, then I will hoop up the charge tube on the TC and SEND IT! Getting closer, the Motec wiring is taking longer for me to figure out but I think I got it. I will leave the 'stock' relay that came from Motec on the harness for now. Its to prevent damage if the leads are hooked backwards on the battery. When I get to chassis work and weight reduction mods next season I will address this then. For now I just want to get it all working and prove functionality this year.
I also bought these trick brackets to mount the ECU, and figured out how to fabricate a plate where the ECU will sit. Waiting on some weather pack connectors and wiring loom to finish the harness and then get it installed in the sled and fire up on OEM injectors!

Part 2A - More Motec wiring deciphering.
I am now playing with the Can Bus to get my power tune dash to work. So far I got the dash to work or the OEM to work but not BOTH at the SAME time so I need to keep messing around. This is way more time consuming then I thought but I am learning a lot. Motec is almost in the sled which is not shown in the vid. I am CLOSE to firing it on SC only to validate it starts and runs. I will do a part 2B and 2C I think before moving on to the Turbo Install, seat, tank, blah blah. Running out of time! I need to take some days off when kids are in school and I can have the shop to myself. In the meantime I am thinking ahead to make sure I have things ordered ahead of time. Gotta love a complex project!
