This is correct in that sometimes the speed you run the bumps can make a difference. I do not beat my sled at all but the 1 foot OR LESS chop can be tamed going different speeds. The bigger stuff I just slow WAY DOWN. I like to be able to tie my boot laces the next morning!I noticed mine didn't feel right in the real rough stuff at about 50 mph, so I increased the speed.
Smoothed right out.

That's what I experience as well, 1 foot ish or less you can go real fast and it takes it but much bigger than that there's nothing that works lol just need to slow way down. This is correct in that sometimes the speed you run the bumps can make a difference. Oh Hell yeah.
After a bit of tweaking ( power and handling mods), much like I have done to every sled that I have ever owned, this one is by far the best of all combined.
I just love a sled that demands respect power wise, and this one surely does. And that ride!

With out a doubt my 2019 X-TX LE is the all time favorite sled I have ever owned.
-Great looks
-Excellent fuel economy
-Rides and handles great
-Incredible and effortless power and crazy high speeds
What's not to like!
I am closing in on 2000 miles this season and couldn't be happier.
The only problem I have is when we stop on our rides all the other sled riders just stare at my sled...its kind of creepy!

Your sled is like a beautiful woman that doesn't wear much clothing, or none at all. With out a doubt my 2019 X-TX LE is the all time favorite sled I have ever owned.

Like most of us,love my winder,17 ltx-le best sled I have ever had the pleasure to ride, and in 50 years of sledding,it is by far the best, fastest, and easiest to to ride hard and stay in control, yes some problems, but for a sled with 200 hp stock, none I will complain about. Love mine.

A few weeks ago a guy on an 850 Freeride waved me down at an intersection. I thought he was lost. He asked me how I liked my Winder. Then he told me it looked badass and gave me a fist bump. These sleds are the sharpest on snow IMO.

100% agree DMC!!
I absolutely love my boosted 998 and would not hesitate to buy another!!! Man squeezing the throttle still make me giggle!! There is no sled out that when cruising at 160km/h and squeezing the throttle it still stretches your arms..lol
Imo if your run big hp maintenance and inspections should be done more often to issure reliability!!!
I just got back from a big 3 day trip and we literally beat the hell out of our 998's for 1700km with 0 issues!!
Hammering the throttle, slamming the brakes and hammering again, jumping, riding fast through beat up and bumpy trails , top end runs...
Not to mention the oops moments were we hit a hole or hit a jump unintentionally and bottom out hard. I hit a few and thought for sure I broke something...lol but nope all was good

Love my 2017 LTX DX, needed to make a few tweaks at the beginning, but nothing crazy. Cruised Quebec with 30+ other guys, all the Yamaha riders were ready to go hard at night, Doo and Poo guys went to bed. They arent perfect, but nothing has been in my first 54 years on this planet..... but going 182 km on my lake on a bright sunny day with everyone else chasing me is as close to perfect as i think i will get on my stock sled.

Yes, I dont ride with any other 998s so ECO is plenty to lay a bashing on any 2 smoke, plus I run 87 to save a few bucks. Is Eco your favorite tune for trail riding?

Your the second person this week to tell me they liked Eco best for trail riding. Smooth power and good mileage, I'm told.
My dealer is telling me I should go with Max Spool 16, but I think it may be a bit much for our tight twisty trails.

Don't get me wrong, I love max spool 16, but for trail riding long multiple days I'll take ECO trail all the time. Great mileage, 127 miles the other day when my fuel light came on.

That is outstanding. My stock Winder is almost out of fuel at 120 miles.
