Every year the ride is on the weekend that I work, :o| or I was broke down #$%&* well I have to work on that weekend but am able to go on the 25th & 26th, I will talk with Beaver as he is my neighbor and we will figure things out. will PM you later.

Don't know how much you guys are watching the weather but we have had rain like crazy in Winnipeg. I am in Snow Lake right now and it is great snow here but that doesn't help for Winnipeg area. I will update when I get home.

Yep I was there on Tuesday the 10th and left for Kenora on Wed the 11th Room 15 at Drifters. Lets just say that two days of riding in the rain was something new. LOL

Trails where thin and in bad shape. Whiteshell is not bad as is the bush south of LDB. Anywhere in the open is down to dirt and hay. Field by Seven Sisters was more stubble then snow. With a little snow most of the trails would be awesome as there is a good frozen base.

Hope you guys get some snow I'm worried about next week.

Here we got 6 inches of snow and the trails are in good shape. We had more snow to begin with.

Charlie, I forgot you were going to be in town, I was suppose to head to Winnipeg on Tuesday and didn't bother cause of the ice on the highway, so instead I stuck around and worked on my house. I don't think I would have went out for a ride in that weather, but I may have joined you for a beer or something. Are you coming back out this way later in the season? We got more snow at the end of the week, so the trails are not too bad.

Booked for the 24th to the 28th at the Glen Howard. If the snow comes I'm still in to do some riding in Manitoba. The trails where good for the most part when we went through just very wet. Anywhere in the open was thin.

If you got some snow the trails should be fine.

Its official we will not be going on the ride. We are doing a local ride instead. Maybe next year if its an organized ride.

Too bad was looking forward to seeing you again! Maybe I'll be riding by myself!

Too bad it's not this week as I'm on a 2 week layoff right now, we go back to work on the 24th, so I don't think I'll be doing much riding, hey I can join you for a brewski though!!!!

I got problems! Sled got loud on my last trip on day 5. Now I know why!

Thought it was gaskets again but they are like new. Should have checked them sooner but have been dieing with a bad cold. Now i have to scramble!

Update.
Although snow is marginal almost everything is groomed. Conditions are OK. MY sled is in the shop getting a new rear shock and big boy spring and a lower drive shaft bearing, 6 replacement idler wheels and front end bushings. Just had the exauhst dougnuts replaced. Not bad for 9000 Kms of hard riding. All of it was covererd by YPP. Sled will be ready for this Wednesday. Should be able to hook up with you guys on Thusday or Friday.
Paul.
