With the rise of my handlebars, I have noticed the TORS kicking in now and again. I have been reading many posts from people who have replaced their cables(throttle, choke, brake, park brake) with RX-1 mountain cables. This seems like it would be the best solution, keeping with OEM parts. I was curious how much longer the mountain cables are vs. the regular RX-1 cables?

Thanks gibby
Anybody else know how much longer they are.
I have about a 8" rise with a straight handlebar. The stock cables work but they get a little tighter than I would like when turning lock to lock. I rerouted the cables and rotated the controls a little to give more length but I still think it would be better with mountain cables.
Mine is an 04' but I have noticed people are getting 05' mountain cables as replacements. Are these the ones to get?

Yes get the 05 mountian cable, my dealer sold to me for $22 cdn couple years ago.
